"Lovely hotel in fantastic location. All staff were very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Our canal view room was worth the extra expense and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was newly refurbished and very modern. Food was of good quality at breakfast and one dinner in the restaurant, if a little on the expensive side. Would definitely stay at the Ambassade Hotel again. Thank you for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay."

"Jan Luyken is a very nice hotel in the museum quarter, just a short walk to the museums. The staff is very friendly and you can help yourself to unlimited coffee and beverages all day and into the evening. Lounging in the foyer and living room area is very nice.breakfast is very nice too! "

"I’ve stayed here many times in the past year or so. I’m mostly impressed by the management and staff. Always courteous and helpful—unlike other places I’ve stayed while in Amsterdam. Some of the apartments and amenities inside are more dated than others, but overall I continue to stay here because the apartments are a good value. "

"Overall great and convenient hotel! Central to the best parts of Amsterdam. The beds were very comfortable but be warn by the overall size of the room. It worked for us, but can definitely see it being an issue for some. The staff is responsive via WhatsApp and the little store in the lobby came in handy! Overall would stay again and instead look into the largest room option to up our experience. "

No one advised this nor is it mentioned in the property details. They called me a taxi. I stayed in apartment 540-1. It was in poor condition. The carpet was OLD, stained and smelly. "Convenient location in the center of Amsterdam. About 30-40min walk from Amsterdam Central. Trams stop right in front of the hotel. Walkable to main tourist attractions. Stayed in a nice and spacious top floor with attic ceiling. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Direct us to a place that helped book our last-minute tour to Keukenhof garden during the flower parade weekend frenzy! "
