“Very Nice”
Our stay could not have been better, Spectacular location, great service, nice rooms, helpful and friendly staff and so much to do. Highly recommended.
“Perfectly Relaxing”
We had a very relaxing few days here before embarking on a cruise. The beds are VERY comfortable and the grounds are great. It's very peaceful and the view from the top of the tram is great. Great trails for hiking but not much else to do. OK gym, great pool. The Seven Glaciers restaurant is beyond fantastic (take the tram up for free with reservations).
“Excellent”
Nice location, excellent service. Stayed 4 nights. No drawbacks. Room was large, clean and comfortable. On site ski shop is very convenient for rentals.
“Highlight of our Alaskan cruise!”
After we got off the ship from our Alaskan cruise, we hopped the train for a comfortable ride to the Alyeska. Accommadations were lovely and there was lots to explore. The hotel staff arranged our transportation from Whittier and the trip to the airport. This was a hightlight of a flawless vacation!
“Exceptional Hotel!! We can't wait to go back!!”
We found nothing lacking in this fabulous hotel. The staff was exceptional! They made us feel comfortable and at home in a matter of minutes. We enjoyed every second of our stay and hated to leave! The rooms were cozy and clean, the food was outstanding, and the views are beyond description. In three words, We LOVED it!!
“Alaska's Finest”
The accomodations were very comfy, especially the beds, and the Seven Glaciers restaurant at the top of the mountain was worth every penny.
“Beautiful resort”
This is the ultimate resort in one of the most picturesque settings in the world. The hotel is pricey but worth it. You can swim in the warm, indoor salt water pool and bask in the nicest hot tub I've ever seen. You can hike from the back door or take the tram to the top of the ski mountains for one of the most spectacular views anywhere. I found it a wonderful place to spend a few relaxing days after travelling at a hectic pace all over Alaska.
“One of the Best”
The room was attractive, conveniently arranged, and possessive of creature comforts. The view of the mountain, tramway, pond and fountain, and flowers was spectacular. The staff was helpful, friendly, and approachable. The location and setting of the hotel was beautiful. It was evident that continual care and maintenance is paramount. The hiking was very accessible and hiker-friendly. Our stay was three nights-Mon. thru Wed. It was a peaceful and refreshing retreat. It will remain an unforgettable time for us.
“Great resort, top notch”
We went in the summer, and even though this is a top notch ski resort, they had plenty for us still to do. We rented bikes for the many trails. plus since it's always light out you can bike all night if you want. Portage Glacier was about 30mintues away. The restaurants were really good as well.
“A Great Stay”
The Hotel Alyeska is a way above par Resort. Every part of the hotel is nice. The pool was enjoyable and spacious. The room was very clean and comfortable. The walking trails behind the resort were another way to excercise while also explore. An excellent place to stay the Hotel Alyeska is! We did the combo tram ride and lunch to the top of the mountain. Very good, indeed. Especially the view from atop Mt. Alyeska. At the top you will also find paragliders, how kool. For lunch we had the Reindeer Sausage, delicious. However, for all other meals we ate elsewhere than the hotels dining options.
