This hotel is in a very old building. There is no lift, so you must carry your luggage up and down the stairs. We are older and found this to be difficult. The hotel is located close to the heart of town, so good from that perspective, but it is a 15 minute walk from the train station. There are no taxi's in Beaune, so the only way was to walk with luggage. This was challenging for us. There is come charm in an old building, but this didn't have it. The bathroom left much to be desired. There is a bathtub only, with a hand wand "shower", but nothing mounted to the wall to fasten the hand wand to so that one could "shower". Getting into and out of the tub was challenging, no hand rails or something hold onto. The hotel would benefit from offering car service to and from the train station.

This hotel was fantastic, such an enjoyable stay. The rooms were extremely well kept in a traditional style, and the breakfast, well, I’ll not let the cat out of the bag, but it is a must. I would recommend to anyone, and the town in breathtaking.

Nice, cute building! The room overlooks the breakfast area and is clean and comfortable. The reception greeting was friendly and helpful. Close to the centre and restaurants and bars. Breakfast was laid out for 0800, a small selection but enough for me and really fresh.

Traditional French hotel well located in Beaune. Staff were helpful and efficient, the room was clean, but the breakfast was very disappointing, meagre offering and quality was low (warm yoghurts and cold pastries), expect more from a hotel of this standard.

Central location

One night, good central location, pigeon nest with pigeon ! On windowsill of bedroom, woke us up very early ! Noisy cobbles but expected in old city. But on the whole a pleasant medium quality hotel. Large very clean room, comfortable bed, kettle for tea making in room, nice touch. Bath makes a change to showers. Did not take breakfast so no comment. Unexpected that the parking was in a public car park, 10 mins walk. They own hotel next door which looked better quality.

The room was comfortable and suitable considering it is an old building. It is looking somewhat tired and consequently does not look clean although in the main it was. Breakfast was mediocre with no staff present to ask for things when we came down - no coffee, butter, fruit and limited cheese 3 small pieces left. When a member of staff did appear only said hello and cleared away tables used. We had to use saucers as plates as there were not any on the table or food service area. These little things detract from the overall experience

This was a very comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was nice. Front desk was very helpful. Two things for feedback. 1) The hotel management's policy of allowing guests to use the courtyard only if they have purchased a drink from the bar seems unreasonable and is unusual from my experience. 2) The alternative location for social activity at night was the breakfast area. Unfortunately, some of the lighting in the room automatically turns off after 2-3 minutes. An override on the lighting control or alternate light source would eliminate frequent trips to the light switch to keep the room lit while trying to enjoy a friendly card game in the evening.
