"The hotel is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has wonderful linens. We stayed in an upstairs room with very narrow winding staircase with no handrails. Difficult to navigate as we are a senior couple. The room was small, but well appointed. However, the peaked ceiling did not allow for a complete wall between the bedroom and bathroom and afforded little privacy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. "We had a huge room. It was very unexpected in a fabulous way. The proximity to the square is excellent as you can overlook the square from your room. There is no checkin or out so you just need to go to the restaurant to pick up your key. We didnt ask about dropping off the key as we had to leave by 8am so we gave the key to the cleaning staff as the restaurant wasnt open. The hotel is a bit eclectic but adds to the charm.
