The hotel is at a fantasic location which is at the city centre and close to all the Christmas festivities. The room is nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much and woild recommend.
I would love to come back to this hotel! Loved the room, it’s in a good location in the city to visit attractions. However the walls of the hotel are pretty thin so you can hear almost everything around you, that’s the only negative. Other than that i really enjoyed my stay!
Convenient location, nice area, walkable. Room was clean, if a little spare. If you are looking for a top quality hotel with amenities, keep looking. Good enough as a clean place to rest your head after a long day. No TV, refrigerator, or coffee in room. No elevator in building, stairs to the rooms are narrow and winding. Walls are pretty thin. No front desk. Like air bnb, you are given a door code by email. Owners were responsive by email day of, and allowed us to leave luggage in the basement (open to anyone with a code for the front door).
Well located modern accommodation...easy walk from centre of Brussels and 25 mins walk to train station for trips further afield to Bruges and Antwerp.
A lovely guest house located exactly where you'd want to be for a vibrant city break with peaceful evenings. The room was more than adequate and would certainly stay again.
5 rooms unstaffed keyless hotel in a very convenient location in the center - it was a very bare bones kind of a hotel with the toilet being part of the bedroom, with a sliding door partition. The most difficult part was our door shaking every time someone in the building opened their door, due to the building being somewhat air tight. I will probably take the hotel again due to the amazing location and also for the cleanliness but it’s not for everyone.
Severe Hygiene Issue – BED BUGs Infestation in Room 5
I am submitting this review as a formal complaint regarding a serious and unacceptable health hazard encountered during my stay.
The room provided to me (Room 5) was infested with bed bugs. I woke during the night with multiple bites and hives, and upon inspecting the bed, I found several bed bugs on the mattress and within the bed frame. I have photographic and video evidence clearly documenting the infestation.
I reported the issue to the hotel immediately, expecting urgent remedial action. No response or intervention was provided, reflecting a troubling disregard for guest safety and for the significant public-health implications of allowing such an infestation to persist. Furthermore, no compensation was offered for the products I had to purchase to prevent a potential infestation in my own home after my stay in the hotel.
It is wholly unacceptable for a hotel to operate with a known or foreseeable bed bug problem. This not only puts guests at serious risk but also contributes to the potential spread of the infestation to other rooms, other establishments, and even across borders.
Until proper action is taken and the hygiene standards are addressed, this hotel should not be providing accommodation to any guests
Absolutely enjoyed my time here - there is no receptionist so you must ring the doorbell if any issues (ie. arrived early). Walls are very thin and stairs very steep. Luggage hold downstairs is not ideal and locks are tiny and key did not work.
We received an email a couple days before our trip that we were moved to a different location so this review is for Wall of Walls instead of Urban Walls. The email contained all information, so easy. When we got there we had been given information for the wrong room. However, there was a number to call and someone responded right away. We thought breakfast was included but it wasn't, so the room wasn't as good value as we thought it was going to be. It wasn't even cleaned while we were there. Room was comfortable and spacious, but there was a bit of a smell and a bit of mold in the bathroom. So overall ok, but will probably look for a different place next time.

Very basic and very small room. One of the lights in the bathroom didn’t work and the fan didn’t work either.
We were warned that the property had no lift, but the stairs were so worn/warped, uneven and generally hard to manoeuvre. We’re young and agile, and even we struggled somewhat, wouldn’t recommend for anyone who may struggle with stairs.
Nice and central location, but we used a car park much further away as the one closest doesn’t receive very good reviews.
No staff support available, but we didn’t require anything as such.
There were communal areas/kitchen but I wouldn’t use them as although they appear clean the smell in the fridge (despite nothing in it!) would suggest otherwise…
Worked for what we needed, but not really the quality we’d hoped for
