Language could be an issue but overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Found the mattress a touch lumpy.

It is a small hotel a few steps from then Beppu train station, and the bus station.The windows are frosted so there is no view. It is a comfortable room.

Conveniently located near Beppu Station and Bus terminal. Friendly English- speaking staff. Only complaint is the wall is a bit thin. You can hear guests in the adjacent room talking.

No frills, a little outdated, but good location
This is a total fine place to stay if you need a no-frills place; the location is great! But be mindful, it's an older building, bathrooms aren't really updated or kept clean, faucets are in the hallway. But really if you just a convenient spot to sleep, not bad if you can get a cheap price.

Neat and compact hotel in close proximity to the Beppu Station. In the quiet of the night, one could hear the trains but the sound was bearable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Comfortable stay with family
Hotel is quite new and walkable from Beppu JR. It's modern, ecofriendly and have all amenities that one needs for a short stay. Staff is very polite and can speak very good English. Hotel staff is also willing to advise about things to do in Beppu and how to explore Beppu efficiently if you are not driving. Surprisingly breakfast was also quite good. Operated by couple of Japanese lady chefs it has good options for kids and adults.

Nice hotel near station
Great stay. Helpful front desk staff and very close to Beppu station. I thought the hotel provided breakfast, but if it was included, I never received any breakfast coupons or info about it. And as a frequent visitor to Japan, I am used to quite small rooms and hard beds. This hotel has regular hard Japanese beds, and I think it is the smallest hotel room that I have ever had (except for capsule hotel).

The staffs at the hotel were excellent with their service-minded. I love the hotel since I stepped in because of the services and greeting I received. I was trying to book the dinner course and the hotel staffs were really helpful beyond the expectation. There was a coffee machine and refreshing water in the common area. I requested for a buck of ice and the staff at that time was too nice to provide me back even at late night. Everything was perfect with the service of the hotel staff. They did provide great clear umbrellas when it was raining. This was so cool because as traveler, I did not prepare for that and the umbrella was great to be in the photos! :)

Stayed for 2 nights. Location is very good, just 5 min walk from JR station. No frills it has everything you need though some you need to pickup yourself from the lobby (common in Japan) including the free coffee!

It is a nice new hotel right next to the Train station. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but with limited choices. It is very easy to go to the attractions since all of the buses start from the train station. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a few onsens in walking distance.

The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and kind. I forgot to pack my toiletries bag when I checked out, but they had found it and put it with our bags which we left to explore the area some more before we left Beppu. They had the best customer service!

Value for money. Very near to Beppu station walking distance 5mins. Accommodating & helpful staff. Very clean and room size is just enough for us 2 sharing with 2 nos of 29" luggage. Highly recommended for stay.

Great hotel for tourists and business travellers
Hotel services were excellent and the counter staff were very helpful and speak excellent English. Hotel location is near to train station, food and shops; very convenient. Only drawback is room small and the pillows are a bit hard for us.

Very helpful and courteous staff
A rather basic hotel but provides all the essentials for a short stay. Room isn't that big but space is very well utilised so it doesn't feel cramped even with three persons and 3 pieces of luggages in the room. Staff are very helpful and professional. Pillows are too soft for our liking but we picked up extra ones at the amenities corner outside the room.

An economical choice in Beppu
The hotel is close to the train station and the historical area. So close that you have a view on the tracks and hear the trains. It is basic, but the price is in consequence It is aged a little. The host are very nice. They serve an excellent breakfast. The washing machine do not work well, drying is inexistant
