“very comfortable”
Stayed in 1 bedroom lodge will working evenings. Very quiet and comfortable. Much more upscale than photos give credit.
“The Welk Resort - best of the best in Branson”
When you read the five "5s" we gave, it is easy to dismiss this as a casual review. We are sincere about the 5s. We stay in a lot of high caliber hotels. The lodge rooms at the Welk are "best of show". Specifically (1) They have great staff that are friendly and helpful. (2) The lodge rooms are very comfortable, large, multi-room units that are private, quiet, and were the kind of units I enjoy. They are more condo like- except that have high quality furniture, interior and exterior designs, accessories, for example the unit had two stone fireplaces. I enjoyed having only mini cleaning every few days, so there are not maids in my stuff. Each unit had a full porch with chairs. (3) the unit was faily new, and was impecably clean. Not just hotel clean, but actually like germ-free clean like my wife likes... very nice. (4) having a washer and dryer in the unit was useful and we used it. (5) The units also had full kitchen, not just a mini kitchen nook, but a real kitchen. It was a comfortable place to entertain friends. The two sink, walk in shower bathroom was as big as some cheap hotel rooms. (6) the Beds were high quality pillow top mattresses. They felt great after driving 3000 miles to get to Branson. No back aches the whole time we were there. (7) The breakfast buffet was excellent. We ended up eating there every day. (8) did I mention the master bedroom has heavy doors on it - very romantic - read between the lines here folks. We highly recommend the Welk Resort.
“Clean Facilities and Professional Staff”
I was a little aprehensive to spend the extra money for a room that we were just going to sleep in, but I decided to stay here because of the splash-a-torium. The facilities were very clean and well placed. I didn't know how well things were going to work out since there was a 10am checkout and that is when the splash-a-torium opened, but the front desk informed me that we could get a late checkout for noon at no additional charge. How things worked out. We checked in at around 9pm and went pretty much straight to bed. In the morning we got up about 7am, no sleeping in with a toddler, and showered comfortably (I am 6' tall), We went to breakfast about 7:45, it was OK nothing outstanding. Then we did the mini golf course and played on the playground until the splash-a-torium opened. The layout was perfect for the rounds we ran in the morning and my son loved playing in the water, but he was a few inches shy of being able to use the slide. Maybe next time.
“Extremely happy with the Welk Resort”
I traveled with a disabled person in a wheelchair and found that the Welk Resort was very gracious to us. Within a half hour, a shower bench had been delivered to our room (and not previously requested). They made three show reservations for us and we were provided with very good seats (however, my partner being in a wheelchair probably helped influence our seating) Overall, I would say that we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was a buffet style and I would not recommend it to my friends. However, we did enjoy Branson immensely, and plan a return trip. High points of our trip... Haygoods, Joseph and the amazing techicolor dreamcoat, Tony Roi, Fantastic Caverns and Lamberts resturant about 2o miles north of Branson. In fact at Lamberts , because my partner was in a wheelchair, the waitress told us "If you came in in your own chair, then you aren't going to be paying for your meal" Our bill was $13.80. (almost blew my mind being from Chicago). Overall, our Branson stay was good and I would definetly stay at the Welk Resort again. It is away from the 76 strip and I would not want to deal with all that congestion on top of me at the hotel. Just my thoughts, Steve

Location was in very good spot. It was close to entertainment yet away from major traffic conditions.

All Welk personnel were extremely kind, helpful and considerate. I could not ask for better service from any hotel.
“Quiet and out of the way”
This is the second time we have stayed at the Welk Resort in Branson. It is clean and the staff is friendly. However the best reason to stay there is because it is away from hustle and bussle of the strip!
