“It is one of the best hotel in Recoleta”
Location is excellent : quiet area (what is very important for a big city like Buenos Aires) with view on Recoleta cemetery and La Plata River in a distance from the swimming pool , gym area and balconies with comfortable chairs on the roof; safe area, a lot of restaurants nearby including famous cafe La Biella and hotel Alvear; beautiful parks, Museum of Bellas Artes and MALBA around. Breakfast : very delicious, a lot of varieties of food (ham, cheese, omelets, bacon, cookies, juices, fresh fruits, cereal, yogurts,coffee, tea, etc.), friendly smiling waiters. Room: big, convenient, clean, with a big belcony. Business center with new computers.
“Great Value in Recoleta, Buenos Aires”
I recently spent 10 days at the Etoile. The room was very spacious, but,basic. There were not many amenities. However, it was clean, and in a great location. The staff was warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which was included, was ample. All in all, it was a wonderful value and I would return again.
“Great small hotel, fantastic location”
Hotel in very nice. Built in the 1700's facilities evidence great maintenance. Rooms are ample for Parisian standards, very clean and quiet. Sitting on the Ile Saint-Louis it has an unbeatable location. Restaurant next corner and cheese store across the street should not be missed
“Overlooking Recoleta Cemetery on Halloween!”
We arrived early for check in after an overnight flight, so had to wait awhile. The front desk clerk upgraded our room due to the wait (even though we arrived earlier than the posted check in time). We had a wonderful suite (#906) that had a jacuzzi, balcony and the best view of Recoleta and the cemetery. On Halloween and my birthday, it was the best! The hotel is has an interesting older style charisma, and is sophisticated not trendy or pretentious. The staff are professional and very helpful. I loved this hotel for its value, location, cleanliness, and the feeling that there is a history of many good times for travelers who had passed that way before me.

“Book This Hotel...You won't be Disappointed”
The Etoile is located in beautiful Recoleta area and we found it to be within walking distance (we love to walk) to major sights and marveluous restaurants, many just outside its doors. The included breakfast is adequate, the rooms a bit dated but comfortable and extremely clean. The front desk staff very helpful and always available to assist and spoke English. In room safes and mini bars are included. Buenos Aires was a wonderful destination and I would welcome the opportunity to return at any time. The Etoile would certainly be my choice based on location, price and service. Enjoy!!
“Excellent hotel”
We stayed for 3 fantastic nights and the service was superb, the rooms were clean and tidy and had a great balcony view. The rooftop pool was great and the staff on the front desk were always happy to assist.. The hotel is in a great area with plenty of restaurants and bars and close to popular Palermo and Saint Telmo. I would definitely recommend a stay here. By the way, the breakfast was more than sufficient!!
“The Perfect Spot”
The location and staff at this hotel were wonderful. For a medium priced hotel it had all the comforts that we needed and you can't beat it's location. You step out the front door to the famous cemetery and wonderful outdoor cafes and lots of people. We loved it.

“Excellent location and value”
This hotel has everything I needed for few days of business trip. Location cannot be better, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Internet charge is high if yousing in the room, but they have a free WiFi in the lobby. The hotel is close to nightlife, shopping and city center and it is in a quiet zone (important for a noisy city like Buenos Aires)
