“Outstanding stay on the cape at stunning location”
Amazing 2 days girl stay. So relaxing, great time!

Everything was great. The room, the food, everything. Next time we will stay in one of the spa suites. I went with my mother and Aunt and they both thought the beds were to high, but they both said they were very comfortable and would come again.

The accomidation were great. the food was great. the room was beautiful overlooking the boat house. the pillows were really good. we will go again.

It was a wonderful experience to stay at that hotel. I loved their amenities, an expresso machine, and clean and comfortable beds. My husband and I had a room service breakfast on the balcony with an oceanview.
“A fantastic hotel but not cheap”
Chatham Bars Hotel is located in a wonderfuul spot - ideal wedding location. the hotel itself dates back to around 1912 but you would not know it. It is furnished to an extremely high standard. most of the hotel accommodation is provided via individual lodges containg 5/6 flats. Staff are extremely friendly and helphul. The hotel is not cheap but the restaurant is a reasonable price. Given its location and standard i would nott complain about the price. One thing I didn't like was the addition of a 'Resort fee' on the bill. I was told that this was to cover concierge and 'roll-down servce'. There is probably some small print somewhere which says this will be charged but it was not made clear to me when i booked or checked-in. In both of these cases i had aleady tipped staff directly.
“Beautiful, Quaint, Stunning!”
Gorgeous hotel and property. Nice views, beautiful rooms, gorgeous spa! Loved everything about it. Hope to return again! Maybe sometime in the summer - was quiet this time of year - imagine summertime is lots of fun and more to do. A quick walk to shops, restaurants. Also the hotel will take you anywhere and pick you up as well. Would also be a BEAUTIFUL place for a nice wedding!
“Would stay here again in a minute”
We had a 1 bedroom cottage with a small ocean view. It was a really comfortable room with a fireplace and lots of room for the family. The service was really terrific and there were so many amenities we didn't have the time to use them all. The pool was wonderful and the beach was fun for the kids. Breakfast was crazy overpriced - I've never had such an expensive breakfast in my life! But lunch at the restaurant by the pool was more reasonable and good lunch fare for the whole family. Don't order room service coffee - there is free coffee in the lounge!
“Gorgeous Hotel”
Very impressed with the hotel and convienence to the beach. Cannot wait to return. The hotel had everything---and defined luxury/leisure on the cape.
“Highly recommended but...”
...pool is too small and overcrowded for a hotel in this class. We overheard swimming off the beach not recommended due current/tide. Service in The Beach Grill was too slow on first night and the explanation (half the kitchen ranges had suffered power loss) given too late, no mitigation (eg, complimentary drinks, food) offered. Warm white wine and inadequately defrosted profiteroles served in The Grill. Unsurprisingly high mark up on the wine compared to other places in Chatham. No place to sit outside the otherwise excellent room of the cottage we stayed in (Seamist). Overall staff were friendly and helpful with one or two exceptions. Gym is small (get there early) but reasonably equipped. Excellent nature walk available on Sat and Sun led by a professional ranger (Eric, who is passionate about the shore and a poet!). Frequent free trolley bus service available into Chatham and elsewhere. Excellent base, centrally located to see Cape Code, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Overall highly recommended if you have the budget.
