"We loved this hotel! Right on the main street of Catania, within walking distance of the sights. The room was huge with everything we needed, and breakfast was provided in a cafe a few minutes walk away. The people in the hotel were helpful and friendly. Our flight didn’t arrive until early hours of the morning, we called ahead and the guy was waiting for us. Would highly recommend this hotel!"

"Dark dingy accomodation in run down area of Catania. Toilet very poor. Staircase dangerous with broken steps. Entrance door hard to find, run down and not inviting. Stayed for 5 mins then left to find somewhere better. Photos on Hotel.com website are misleading. dont think should be on Hotels.com listings. Really, really disappointing. "

"The reviews are correct..there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. Once you are up there, it is quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room had a huge balcony but the thinnest bathroom. Hard to sit down if you know what I mean. Breakfast was fine. Easy walk from the train station. The neneighborhood does not look great but only a few blocks to the town center....beautiful. Catania is a lovely city and Bmode is a good place to stay to explore."

"Had a satisfactory stay. Hotel failed to inform me properly regarding check-in such that I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to check-in. Information regarding check-in should be sent at least a day in advance and not a couple of hours earlier only. Otherwise apart from no hairdryer and communal kitchen all was ok, clean, very central and at a good price."

"I was happy with the size of the room and bed,and bathroom had a good shower, I was a little annoyed about being told to give my room key when ever I wanted to go out, the first time I was leaving to go out and was asked to give the room key,I then said to this man I would like to keep hold of it. When I returned later in the day I was told off by this other man for not leaving my key with them."

"Une arrivée un peu houleuse car la réservation avait été zappée mais finalement et heureusement, la chambre était libre et le petit-déjeûner nous a été offert pour les 3 nuits. L'endroit est très central, très bien situé, très agréable pour aller se promener, faire du shopping, visiter... La chambre est spacieuse, pas de nuisances particulières mais nous y étions au mois de mai. Le seul bémol serait la salle de bains."

"Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....
