“Not exciting but clean & comfortable”

There's not a great deal of ambience but the staff are helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make a lone female traveller feel welcome. The room was spacious with clean white bed linen and towels. Food in the restaurant was good, just a shame so few people were eating there.

“impressed”

the hotel was all it said it would be, a very plesant atmosphere, very helpful, we had a disabled downstairs room overlooking the park which was excellent.

“Excellent Hotel in La Rochelle”

All staff were friendly and helpful, we tried our best in French, but they were happy with English too. The room was very clean and the air conditioning was quiet and effective. The Hotel is on a road going through a quiet park and is within easy walking distance of the Old Port and Place du Verdun where the airport public bus arrives. The restaurant was very good, and the service excellent. Overall, a very good hotel for a holiday or as a regional base for touring around.
