“Superb Hotel”
Brilliant location, beautiful hotel and extremely efficient staff. Fabulous!
“True 5 Star Luxury”
True luxury right in the centre of Chester. Staff are fully attentive and only too happy to help. The bar is sumptious and whilst a little pricey no more than you would expect to pay at a top class hotel bar. The rooms are adequately sized with very comfortable beds. A llittle tricky to find if you are driving - so do your research before you set off so you dont get caught out by using your sat nav alone.
“Bit pricey, but worth it as a treat!”
Fabulous hotel, right in the heart of Chester. Valet parking included. Feel like royalty when you arrive. Hotel brasserie a wonderful place for coffee, cocktails or evening meal, very atmospheric, gorgeous decor, trendy and lively!! Would like to live there..... if I could afford it!
“Simply Excellent”
The service, rooms, staff and everything about this hotel fully warrants its 5 star rating. I've stayed in may so called 5 star hotels and often found I've been left wanting, but no so with this one.
“Top Notch Service”
From the time we walked through the door to the time we left the staff of the Chester Grosvenor were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and professional. As part of my work I teach "customer service" training and my experience at this hotel exemplified what I try to convey in my teaching.

Perfectly situated and car park/hotel entrance very easy. Park, check in and forget the car. Food in Brasserie is very good indeed, unfortunately we were unable to go to gourmet restaurant, due to other commitments.

My wife and I had a fantastic break at this hotel, she can thoroughly recommend the spa, and I the bookshops, I spent time in, whilst she was relaxing.
“A long wait!”
We have been planning to go to this hotel for many years which is why we have entitled our review "A long wait", but it was worth the wait! We have marked down the hotel service slightly as there was a short wait at breakfast otherwiise all was fine and staff friendly and professional. The meal in the Simon Radley Resturarnt was without fault it was a superb meal and we believe they should now be given a second Michelin Star. We will certainly go back again.

“Very comfortable, if very expensive, short break”
Excellent Hotel. Everyone very helpful, friendly and polite. I left my phone in the centre console of my car after it had been taken away and parked. They sent someone to retrieve it immediately. Room was extremely comfortable and spacious. The view from the room was what you might expect of a city centre hotel, the roof of the neighbouring shopping centre. Food at the Simon Radley was excellent but you have to forget about the price. The service is formal but friendly and the staff certainly know about the food. If I was to make one criticism it is that hotels that are this expensive feel the need to add a supplement for a cooked breakfast in the morning with a further supplement for something "fancy" like kippers or devilled kidneys. However, if you want a luxurious hotel in a city centre location for a short break, you could do worse than the Grosvenor
