“Nice Hotel, convenient to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park”
This hotel was had very nice atmosphere and updated facilities. The pool and hot tub were very nice and there was a spa available. We were able to walk across the street to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park as well as local restaurants/pubs. The room rate was very competitive for Ireland/Europe.
“Lovely Stay”
This hotel made a wonderful home base from which to see Ireland's west coast. The rooms were well appointed, though I did find the chairs a bit stiff. I like to cuddle up into something large and overstuffed and the chairs in the room were tailored wing backs. When I wanted fluff, the lobby fit the bill. Bunratty is, of course, a touristy area and we knew that going in. It did not detract from the charm or the lovely areas a short drive away. It had the bonus of having many things close by for nervous first time left side of the road drivers for the beginning of our trip.

Clean, nice hotel with ice machine (unheard of in Ireland or England) Close to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and Shannon Airport. We stayed there 4 nights over two weeks. Comfortable beds.
“Bunratty Castle Hotel Everything You Could Want”
The Bunratty Castle Hotel had everything we were looking for from a clean, comfortable, safe hotel room, breakfast served every A.M. and Kathleen's Pub (connected right next door)opened late every P.M.(after traveling all day it was so convenient to grab a late meal). Angsana Spa was a wonderful experience! There was also another more upscale restaurant we did not get a chance to try. Close to Shannon Airport. Pool/hot tub and work out areas. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Great choice”
We were very pleased with our stay at the Bunratty Castle Hotel! We had an early(6:30 AM)arrival and stopped at the hotel to see when we could check in. The staff was very courtious and made every attempt to get us a room as soon as possible, even though they were booked the night before for a wedding. They were accomodating of every request that we had. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The full Irish breakfast buffet was a nice way to start each day. We were pleased with the easy access to N18 for our daily excursions to other parts of the country. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Hotel should have been rated higher than a three star. Beautiful hotel, magnificent castle and great location for sight-seeing. Not to mention Durty Nelly's with their excellent food and staff.

Hotel was very cleaned and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and was more than willing to do anything that was requested.

The staff here is so warm and welcoming. It is by far the best place to stay in this area.
“Great Hotel and Location”
The Bunratty Hotel was very clean and in a good location to the Castle and folk park. We stayed one night before our tour started and had a lot of fun. Very friendly people and very shuttle service to and from Shannon Airport.
“Great Place & a Pleasant Alternative to an Airport Hotel”
A venerable hotel opposite Bunratty Castle which has just undergone a major facelift. The service is attentive & the amenities a bit better than you would expect in this price range. A good place to "kip" for the night if you're attending the evening festivities at Bunratty Castle or waiting for a flight out of Shannon Airport (10 minutes away). A refreshing alternate way to stay close to the airport.
