“One of the nicest ever.”

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was comfortable and kept up. The king suite had two "mini-rooms" that included the bedroom and living room. The "mini-rooms" each had TVs which were new and large - not like those you normally find in hotels. I travel fairly often and this room is the nicest I have ever stayed in.

“For Rock on the Range”

I was pleasantly surprised how good this hotel is. I stayed there for 3 days and I had no problems. The only annoyance is there are no safes in the room.

“Great OSU Hotel”

Went to OSU game and stayed here. Clean rooms, nice staff, comfy bed, delicious breakfast. Great OSU team spirit too. Not a far drive from campus at all. Will definitely stay again when in Columbus.

“Convenient to OSU”

For lodging that is close to OSU, that is clean and comfortable, attractive and not too pricy, this Fairfield Inn is a good choice. It is close to a shopping center (grocery store, gas station) as well as to the University, which makes it family-friendly.

“Enjoyable stay.”

Overall, I was quite pleased with my experience. I do have one complaint, which might seem to be a trivial complaint but caused me be uncomfortable in the room. The air conditioning/heating unit was blowing on me constantly. The room was small but that was not a big problem, it was clean, the bed and linens were high quality, TV great, staff accomodating, etc. The only way I could deal with the problem was to put a towel over the register to divert the heat downward, otherwise it was a constant annoyance.

“"Clean Though Showing It's Age"”

The Fairfield Inn is clean, close to the university with many food, shopping locations nearby. I was a little worried when we walked in the lobby and the first thing I noticed were the "tired" looking chairs with frayed arms. My room was neat and clean. I was in town for a 3 night business stay and found the breakfast to be more plentiful than some other hotels I've stayed at. The breakfast room was clean and inviting. While this was an older hotel it seems to have been maintained quite well - new furniture in the lobby would go a long way to improving the first impression of the place.

“It is what it is, with a nice breakfast”

We stayed their last year when our child attended and OSU football camp. It's extremely close to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Last years room had a nice kitchenette with fridge, this years did not. Nothing alerted us to any difference, so we just ASSUMEd that it wasn't any different from last year (not booked through expedia). But there's a nice breakfast, with create your own waffle, and the pool and area aren't bad.
