“Going That Extra Mile”
My stay at the Stoneleigh was short but exceptional. I was not feeling my best when I arrived in Dallas. All I wanted to do was go to my room and crawl in bed. Check-in was fast and very friendly. I got to my room and called room service to ask about getting some soup. I was told that they had two kinds, neither of which would have worked wiith my upset stomach. The person in room service said she would talk to the chef and not more than 20 minutes later room service showed up at my door with a bowl of chicken soup (with real chunks of chicken) and some plain crackers. I was so appreciative and bowled over by the effort to please. I highly recommend this hotel and won't hesitate to stay there when I return to Dallas. Sue
“Delighted in Dallas”
I love the older hotels and this one didn't dissapoint. Very clean throughout and friendly staff. We didn't have time to visit the spa, but will make time on our next stay.
“Great for a little getaway”
Great experience. Went here for a night away from work and children. Very romantic. Just enough history mixed with modern updates. Likes: In walking distance to many restaurants in the Uptown area. Room was very clean and updated. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great staff. Dislikes: Only has valet parking at $20 per day. Ordered room service to get peach cobbler, but it tasted like lemons.
“Very comfortable and charming hotel”
Terrific hotel in a very nice area of Dallas, convenient to all areas and many very nice restaurants in the area including one in the hotel. The building itself is old world charm and character that has all been updated. Comfortable all around with good facilities.
“Great value!”
Had a great stay. Great location. Friendly staff. Spa was just OK. But at least it had one! This hotel is an excellent value.
“A fantastic stay!”
We enjoyed a fantastic stay, this place oozes elegance and comfort while avoiding many of the tacky cliche'd elements of traditional luxury hotels. The spa is amazing, my wife enjoyed a few of their services and was delighted. The restaurant and bar (Bolla) is also superb. I have a new favorite hotel in Oak Lawn area.
“Stoneleigh”
Outstanding hotel. Very low-key but well maintained, stylish and comfortable.
“Wonderful hotel. Great location.”
Beautiful hotel. Great location, friendly staff. Yummy breakfast.
“Historic hotels”
I love historic hotels. This one is ideally located just north of downtown Dallas. Being from a small town, the $21 parking fee surprised me, but I guess that's part of a city now.
“Stoneleigh Hotel”
The rooms were great, the staff was exceptional. I stayed here 20 years ago, it still has the same charm, great staff... just a lot nicer with the renovations.
