The elevator and hallwayd could have been a little cleaner, and I found it hard to believe with the price of the rooms that they want to charge you for using a chair on the beach!!! Not cool!!! "Coastal Suites is a reasonably priced hotel in a busy section of Wilmington. My only complaint is about noise in the vending/ice machine area which is quite loud in my room which was next to this area. On Wednesday evening someone was talking on his phone. Early Thursday morning some taking a large amount of ice from the machine. This noise was quite disturbing."

"Better than expected for the price.All the staff were great, fast easy check in..very knowledgeable about the area. Stayed 3 days but no housekeeping but I think that's pretty much every where now & we didn't really need it. Had plenty of towels for just my husband & I and we didn't spend a lot of time in the room anyway. I'm sure if we would've requested it they would've been more than happy to do it. Great location being in between the river & the beach and a lot less expensive than the hotels...

"This is a great value for a beach front stay. No frills. Nothing fancy. But it was clean and quiet. The parking is limited to one car per room; When I called ahead to ask about a solution to brining two cars, the clerk simply said “well you’re just going to have to cancel” I said, “no ma’am, my problem solving skills are better than that” and realized there’s paid parking directly in front of the hotel for the general public-problem solved. I paid $30/day to park my car there."
