“Wonderful and Historic”

This hotel is a historical sight with an archeological dig area right in the lobby. It is a short walking distance from the "Capela Dos Osos," or "Chapel of Bones" and the RomanTemple.

Great breakfast room and service. Historic landmark with a section in the lobby showing an excavation of even earlier settlement. Double windows on the street side were photographically full a little noisy from students enjoying themselves on the street

“Good Hotel”

The hotel is nice, the ceilings are especially different! its breakfast buffet is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They can give you great tips about the city. I would recommend it.

“Great location”

Perfect location in the middle of it all. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable, but sparse. We had a room in the back, per our request. I think a front room in high season might be loud. Breakfast was simple, but ample. They spray some sort of scent on the pillows...it is not a bad smell, but it did put my allergies into overdrive. If you drive, they do have limited parking spots that need to be reserved in advance. The trick for us was parking outside the city walls, walking into town to get directions and the parking "pass" then moving our car. It was a bit more walking, but a lot less stress than winding lost through all those narrow streets.

“Good hotel, great location”

Some comments: - A good 3 star hotel by UK standards - Good central location, back rooms are quieter - Good buffet breakfast - No hairdryer or tea / coffee making facilities - restaurant next door very poor - you have to pay up to 15 euros a day for parking pass - about 100m away - but worthwhile

“Fine place to stay.”

While not fancy, this is a very decent, clean hotel and great for one night in Evora. The locations is great, right in the center of town. It is a beautiful old building and the ceilings in the rooms, living room and dining room are exceptional - they are highly arched and made of stone. The breakfast, included for all guests, is very nice.
