On our first day, the hosts kindly circled must-visit areas on the map, making it easy for us to explore, even with our 5-year-old. Most of staff at checkout are task oriented and their attitude does not reflect the level of service I’d expect in this prestige hotel therefore I will never be back . "This is a nice hotel overall. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. There was no desk, microwave, or a true refrigerator. There was plenty of hot water. Our biggest complaint was our room was hot and there is no air conditioning. We did open the windows and that help some. The restaurant and bar have the same menu. There are not a lot of selections and there are no other restaurants nearby. "

"Short but sweet stay. Booked after running the Edinburgh Marathon. I had messaged ahead of time to enquire if there was a bath tub in the room. Heather was dealing with our messages. Very accommodating. Also arrived to a nice welcome note and some chocolates in the room. Little things but just made the stay that bit more special. We ate at the antico bar restaurant and again, staff just so attentive. I would say the pictures on the website don’t do the hotel justice. Our room looked fantastic and the views of the sunrise over the bridge was special. Will definitely find time to return. "
