Point A Hotel Glasgow
3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1001)
"Definitely a budget hotel that has some wear and tear in the rooms. It was blissfully dark and quiet though (without a window) and the towels were incredible. There was also a super easy self check-in via a computer. Scuffs all over the walls, stains on the sheets, broken shower head (water sprayed out all over), some outlets that didn’t work, and a door lock that was kind of weird (like hard to tell if it was locked) were the downsides. "Room was lovely and clean. My only difficulty was with the bathroom. I found it a tight squeeze getting in & out the shower door. The toilet was also in a very tight space between the shower & the wall. I would stay again but i would request a room with a bigger bathroom."

"Great for food in the evening because you are close to local shops and cafes/ restaurants also subway stop. Windows don’t open. So much dust on radiators and sink dirty. Bad smell in room. Parking is based on first come based only. Reception man upon arrival was fantastic extremely nice and helpful. Night lady with short light hair on reception was very rude and snappy. Terrance used for smokers - most often harsh substances that you can really smell. "

Sandyford Hotel
3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (919)
"A really nice couple of nights at the Sandyford Hotel. I parked 10 mins walk away by the Mosque, in an underground car park. £24 for 36 hours, you pay the Sikf at the entrance with cash. Great location, I walked everywhere from the hotel and felt safe even walking back in the dark. Bus stop right outside with open top tour bus stopping regularly. Easy walk to the lovely Kelvingrove park and museum. Easy walks to theatre and Art Cinema. Clean room, helpful staff. I would highly recommend. "
