"Great location, clean, wait staff in the restaurants are lovely and friendly. Great having taxis outside the hotel. Staff in the Cinnamon bar could be more friendly towards customers. Some consistency with cocktails and food coming out of the kitchen would be good (eg. jerk pasta was very different the two times I had it- had it again as it was so nice the first time). "We stayed here for Carnival week and arrived Thursday and did not receive any house keeping until we checked out a week later. Room was cheap for Carnival but understandably so. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Felt safe in location but it isn't a walkable area and need to get transportation to anywhere in Port of Spain. No phone in room.
