"Outstanding boutique hotel with excellent service at beautiful location"

"We stayed for ten days and this property was absolutely excellent in all categories. Location is perfect and staff was super friendly and willing to help in every situation. To the rear of the hotel is the Gothic Quarter and outside the front door is the marina and short walk to the beach. I won't consider any other hotel option for our next trip to Barcelona - five stars in all respects! Oh, and breakfast buffet was incredible so definitely include that when planning your stay. "

"This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Colon and it was another wonderful stay. I love the helpful staff and the great central location in Barri Gothic. We arrived early and our room was ready, which I really appreciated. Our room was located on the 3rd floor that was totally renovated one month ago. Comfortable design room with super comfy bed. Breakfast is great with lots of choices. Roof top terrace has been totally renovated as well and just reopened without the pool. "

"Junior suite was the best room on the roof. Small jet pool was cold water, so book this room in the summer time and not spring. Breakfast was fabulous. Lobby took our bags and brought them to the room. "
