“Would stay here again!”

Extremely clean, well maintained hotel. Walking distance to Grand Marais harbor, shops & restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful balcony views of Lake Superior. The only negative about the hotel was their breakfast. Poor coffee and a very strange little pancake maker! However, this was not a big issue since there are so many great breakfast places just a couple minutes walk away. The nice rooms and friendly staff more than make up for bad coffee!

“Combine visit with Angry Trout Cafe”

Our stay was lovely in Grand Marais. Very glad we chose this Motel. We also had a great relaxing walk to the Angry Trout Cafe for one of our greatest meals of our 10 day trip around Lake Superior.

“Loved our stay”

Stayed at this hotel for one night while enjoying our Lake Superior circle tour. We enjoyed everthing about this hotel. Good bed, satisfactory breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Being from Oklahoma, we'll probably never return to that area, but would highly recommend it to other travelers.
