Clean and well-maintained overall. Friendly staff. Dated decor, but had everything we wanted at a great price.

The Shoreline Inn
1) Breakfast had too many flour-based items for my personal taste. 2) Great location. 3) Clean, quiet rooms. 4) Wonderful Staff, very helpful, kind people. 5) Great view of Lake Superior "located beyond the ice near the shore" from the main floor location.

Aspen Inn
Breakfast was pretty weak. Super tiny breakfast area. Had to go down the road to a sister hotel to use the pool and hot tub, which was not real convenient. But the price was very good, room was clean, and I guess you get what you pay for.

East Bay Suites
Kitchen is fully equipped to make meals. Very nice and clean with a beautiful view. We will stay here again.

On the water close to Lutsen nice place had to sell their own driveway, though it was really icy
