“Hershey Park Trip for Family”
Didn't know what to expect, a friend suggested that we stay at this hotel in downtown Harrisburg where the rates were lower than at Hershey Park. It was only about 15 minutes away from the Hershey attractions. No shuttle to the park from the hotel; parking was $10 at the hotel. The hotel is immense, the room was clean and warm, with a refrigerator and flat panel tv, I believe a 32". Indoor pool and nice exercise room, didn't use either. About a block starts what they call "restaurant row" where there was about 7 restaurants, several "pubs" and a couple night clubs. (good pizza next door, forget the name). They have a small mall and food courtyard attached to the hotel via skywalk.... Staff were nice and very helpful front desk with directions to Hershey. Overall a really nice first visit to Harrisburg.
“Worth the expense”
The parking garage is a little confusing to get in and out of due to the very narrow and twisting entrance and exit ramps. But, the overnight parking rate was reasonable being a hotel guest. The hotel was beautiful, the staff very friendly. Even the continental breakfast I ordered the next morning was reasonably priced. My favorite part about the trip was the bed! I am considering purchasing one for my home, it was THAT comfortable! The overall experience is worth a few extra dollars!
“All that I expected from Hilton Brand”
Great hotel location. Walking distance to the river walk, the Whitaker Center and more. In hotel dining experiences were terrific for breakfast as well as a gourmet dinner at the Golden Sheaf hotel restaurant with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
“"Excellent Accomodations"”
The Hilton Harrisburg was excellent! It was centrally located and we were able to walk everywhere. We were given four complimentary breakfasts the next morning which was a fabulous buffet. This was nice because I had my son with two of his friends to take to Camp Woodward so they all had a good breakfast before starting camp. I was very satisfied with the Harrisburg Hilton and will plan to book my reservation for next year.
“Great Trip To Harrisburg”
Was looking for a hotel withing a descent travel distance from Hershey, and Gettysburg. The location was perfect! Many eateries within walking distance, as was the beautiful Susquahanna River. The room and service was fantastic!! Their were many nice restaurants within the hotel, plus a catwalk that connected to an office building with a really nice food court...

Stayed over one night. Perfect location. Staff was very nice and room very clean. Will definitely stay here when I visit again!
“In the Center of Everything”
Located right in the center of everything, this hotel was within walking distance to any number of restaurants and night spots. The service was top notch, the rooms clean and roomy, the breakfast buffet was ample for the price.
“Always stay here when I am in the area”
Great hotel for families. Connected to Science Center and IMAX movie. The pool is great for children and exercise room equipped for a hotel.

Stay here everytime I am in Harrisburg. Always pleased with the Hotel and Friendly Staff. And the hotel is in Great location, in center of downtown. Can walk to everything!
