Aston Shores at Waikoloa contains four three-story buildings of pale stucco and red-tile roofs. The entry is gated.

Rooms
Geared to golfers, this 85-unit gated condominium resort is surrounded by lush fairways. Condo units are situated in four three-story buildings of pale stucco with red tile roofs. All units have extra-large lanais with views of the tropical gardens or golf course. Upscale furnishings are island-inspired, and amenities include full kitchens with dishwashers, stovetop and kitchen linens, washer/dryers, and VCRs. High-speed Internet access is available for a surcharge. These units have ceiling fans and air conditioning. Air mattress available on request for a fee.
Smoking is not permitted inside hotel rooms.
The hotel provides two complimentary bottled waters upon arrival.

“Accommodation Made It Well Worth”
I can only add superlatives to all accommodation features. Great service, wonderful conditions, very clean, affordable, and very good location. No surcharges, or surprises of any kind, friendly personnel and trustful. Considering all these and the proximity to Hapuna Beach Park a vacation here competes highly with any other of the top Hawaiian resorts.

“Best bargain at Waikaloa”
The Aston Shores accommodations far exceeded my epectations based on the three star rating it was given. I have stayed in the Waikaloa area five times, and this condominium was the lovliest I have ever rented. The cost was lower, the maintenance better, and the representatives friendlier and more helpful than at other locations where we have stayed. We wised we had reserved an entire week there in retrospect.
“Very spacious -nice and big”
The room was very comfortable. The only thing I would critisize is the pool and spa area -the tile and decking were cracked and appeared to be falling apart; the key for this area did not work well, but why use the swimming pool when you've got the whole Pacific ocean!
“Peaceful, quiet and beautiful”
We had a very pleasant stay. The condo was very nice, the kitchen was well furnished with dishes and kitchen tools. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of Mauna Kea, and the location made it easy to go anywhere on the island.

“More than I expected”
When booking this room, I assumed it was just a hotel room. I didn't know it was a timeshare, so when it turned out to be a full apartment we were delightfully surprised. This property is tucked away near some larger resorts, and may not have as many of the amenities, but it was a very comfortable stay.
“Military Leave Destination”
I took my wife and 3 children here and we loved it while I was on leave. I saw a few reviews on here that gave poor markings. I did not see what they were complaining about. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly and the location was beautiful. My kids did not want to leave. I would definetly come here again and recommend it to friends. I am now looking for other Resort Quest locations on Kauai and Maui.
“Aston Waikaloa Shores,”
The Aston Waikaloa Shores is a real gem... much nicer than condos i have stayed at along Alii drive in Kona. It is clean, up-to-date, and everything is well maintained. It's a quiet location with beautiful lush landscaping amidst the lava fields. I especially liked the lanai and the convenient washer/dryer. For activities, one can walk to the Hilton Waikaloa and tour the grounds or go to the local Queen's marketplace to rent bikes or pick up groceries. Although Waikaloa is about a 20 min North of Kona ...well worth the extra mileage to get to tourist activities.
“Great condo!”
Great condo in a good location among several resorts. The one bedroom unit was perfect for my wife and I. The king sized bed was comfy and clean. The living room had a TV, DVD player, and a CD player. Very roomy, and the decor was quite up to date and pleasant. The full kitchen was great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The laundry room is off the kitchen and has an apartment sized washer And dryer. Every thing worked very well. We would definitely come back again!!
