“Helsinki Home”
I have stayed here a number of times previously, with this being the first booking via Expedia. Good location next to Kamppi metro and bus stations as well as the Kamppi centre. Good restaurant and newly refurbished sauna facilities.

“Good standard accomodation and service”
HOTEL: An efficiently run hotel with pleasant & friendly staff. Clean rooms although not plush, very good beds and good bathroom. V enjoyable stay and excellent value for money in an expensive city! We woul stay here again and recommend it. CITY: Lovely city, easy to walk around, lots to see and do, pleasant helpful people.

“Helsinki Hotel”
This is a very slick hotel which is actually very well situated in the heart of Helsinki (although we didn't realise this when we arrived since we took the long way round to get there). Staff were extremely helpful - slight downside was that the bar closed at midnight (maybe Finnish law - but I expect it stays open until last man standing). Other minor issue was that restaurant (which is actually OK) forgot one of our starters

Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Helsinki. This is a good quality hotel situated centrally in the Kampi district and appears to be used for business meetings, conferences etc. It is a short distance from the city centre, the two main harbours and some of the main visitor attractions in Helsinki. Our bedroom was of reasonable size and comfortable with well fitted bathroom, having bath and shower. Pity that the tea/coffee provided had to be drunk out of cardboard cups! Breakfast, with minor niggles, was satisfactory, but dining in the restaurant was expensive particularly if one wished to have any alcohol. Altogether we were quite happy with our choice of the hotel as a base for a 7-day holiday. Helpful Note. The local transport system (particularly the trams) is good and efficient, and the Metro unbelievably clean and fast. It is well worth while getting a travel card for the number of days staying.
