“Enjoyed”
Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable.
“Good zzz's for less $$$$”
Comfortable & clean rooms @ very affordable prices. The beds were clean & comfortable. The only opportunity was there would be a long wait for hotel staff to come to the front desk. (It seemed like there would only be one person working & that person had to oversee situations that required them to leave the front desk. Schedule 2 people Red Roof!)
“This modest hotel was just fine.”
When all a person wants is a clean room, a good bed and a TV that works, this is a good choice. The price and value were exceptional, but, remember, this isn't a Taj Mahal.
“Good Value for Money”
I visit the Energy Corridor on business most weeks and stay in variouse budget hotels. The Red Roof Inn is as good as any and better than most.
“Repeat Customer”
The hotel is best described as a good value for money. It is situated close to I10, but not on I10 so traffic noise is not an issue but still provides easy access to companies in the Houston Energy Corridor as well as eating, drinking and shopping.
“Not impressed this time around”
Usually I stay at this hotel, I have been staying there at least one weekend a month, This past stay was by far my worst stay. The restroom was really bad. I put my daughter in the shower and when I went to close the curtain it was stuck. I noticed that rod was broke and split all along it. The next day I took my daughter to the zoo and when we got back we noticed that room service made one bed and left one unmade(which was no biggie) when my daughter went to the restroom the toilet would not flush. I also noticed that housekeeping left handtowels instead of bath towels. I went down to the front desk and asked for bath towels. I also wanted to see about maybe switching rooms but i over heard the front desk lady tell another customer all she had was king beds only. I asked her if anybody has ever complained about the restroom in 210 she said "why" I explained to her that the toilet was not flushing right and that nothing, not even toilet paper would go down. she looked at me and said " oh yeah you need to throw the toilet paper in the trash and hold the button down, thats what the lady said" I asked her who told her and she said the lady. I could not figure out who she was talking about. I then told her that if that needed to be done than maybe they should put a sign up. I told her that i held the button down for a good 3 minutes and nothing, she asked me if i needed a plunger, i told her there was one in the room and it would not help' i just got tired trying to explain it
“All Smoking Rooms!”
Apparently ALL rooms in this hotel are smoking! And I must have gotten the 'smoking-est' of them all. Had to wash all my clothes, even unused ones, after 1 night there - the stench just wouldn't go away.
“Adequate for a short stay.”
Pretty clean, conveniently located to Houston. But no in-room coffee, no breakfast. Front desk forgot my wake-up call.
“Met expectations”
Room was clean, warm, and quiet. That's all that was mandatory. Needs more staff on at night. One person is not enough. No access to computer available for looking up information on internet. Was not able to get a rollaway cot. We made due and got a good night's sleep so all in all not a bad experience.
“If you have to...”
continous roar of I-10 audible at all times. made worse by poorly sealed doors. burnt out light bulbs . was changed to another room. both rooms smelled possibly of cat urine. main reason i chose this property was a convenience factor and price
