“enjoyable”
Was nice clean hotel. The only problem was that a sea view room does not have a balcony but the photo on the website shows that it does. Apart from that everything like food and facilities were very good.

Ideal Location in Quiet spot close to Old Town. Good, Friendly Service with Good facilities. Only Downsides - Matress needed replacement and Bathrooms very small Recommended

“old fashioned but excellent position”
strange old fashioned practices like always having to sit at the same table for breakfast (next to the colonel and his wife) which might be fine but for the fact that the room is empty otherwise... bedroom didnt get shaken down/made up which is poor. enjoyed stay but feel is v old fashioned. lovely coast walk on the doorstep
“Hotel with a view”
Very well situated with super gardens and view. Hotel staff were very helpful but the hotel could do with redecorating and the rooms need modernising, particularly the bathroom.
“Good location, strong customer service.”
Good Customer service. Very noisy room (we had a family room) and could hear clearly conversations from the bar area and in adjoining rooms. Hotel was comfortable and in a good location for the beach and the main area of Shanklin. The decor was shabby and ols fashioned.
