“Good hotel (Suite experience)”
The hotel is well located in the Taksim area. I was upgraded to the suite on the 8th floor (room 1802) which was large and has a big balcony overlooking the North East (not Bosphorus view but still good view of the city). No bath tub but good size shower and acceptable bathroom size, all new materials, LCD TV, good in-room bar. The staff is friendly and helpful. A taxi is always waiting outside. Good full breakfast, small reception and medium size lobby area. It's definitely a good 4 stars hotel and I would compare this to a good Best Western or Holiday Inn city hotels. Please note my experience is from the suite, not a regular room. When I checked in there was a huge group of Italian tourists and it was hard to get to the reception. I already thought I've "had it" when I reached the reception. I think they upgraded me because the group took all their double rooms. So I have no experience with the single or double rooms, just the suite. Conclusion: good 4 stars.
“Good Hotel, Rude Staff”
I stayed there for 2 nights. Location is good, and room was also pretty good but the staff at front desk was very rude. There is an overall image that turkish people are very rude so i guess thats what it is. Breakfast was boring, had nothing in it. Over all god stay as we were always out. I suggest living close to taksim on Istiklal street
