“Krystal is great”
There was a small water leak from our bathtub when we used it but other than that the hotel and staff and location were great. We really, really enjoyed it and will be back there.
“would love to got back”
hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff was freindly and most helpful. Beds a little hard
“Great Hotel”
The service is very good, especially at restaurant and bar, the price of "All-Inclusive" it's OK. I would recommend this hotel.
“Best Vacation Ever!!!”
Having never traveled to Mexico before, we didn't know what to expect. From the time we arrived at the Krystal in Ixtapa everything was wonderful. The staff was freindly and helpful!!! We will be going back as soon as we can. It was the best vacation we have every had!!!
“ixtapa nh krystal- excellant”
great location on the beach, taxi's $5 to $8.00 to Zihuatenejo, ecellant service, clean rooms, all with view.
“Extremely happy with our first all inclusive trip!”
This was our first all inclusive trip that we've been able to take and we were quite impressed with the service we had at the Krystal. Everything we booked through Expedia went through without a hitch and we were extremely pleased with the service and helpfulness of everyone at the Krystal. If you don't want to worry about having a bill at the end of your stay, follow the guidelines for the all inclusive fares. Also, eating in town, (everything is within walking distance in Ixtapa), is very reasonable. We received free vouchers for Bogarts and took advantage of them. It was good food but if we would have had to pay for it, we wouldn't have eaten there-very expensive! The pool was fun, and the surf was very strong but lots to play with on the beach! The rooms were nice, clean and had great ocean view. Needless to say we didn't spend much time in our room so they were just utilitarian. The beds and pillows were hard, (and because of being forwarned by other reviews, we brought our own down pillows!) Bring an extra empty suitcase for all your treasures to take back home.
“Great stay in Ixtapa!”
This is about our 14th time to visit Ixtapa. Truly enjoyed the sun and sand. The Krystal staff are great, particularly the beach servers and the main desk staff. We had a little problem with getting all of our towels, bath mat, & wash cloths each day but the maids did a good job of cleaning the room. The local eating places are varied, economical, and serve great food. We'll go back next year if possible.
“Relaxing getaway”
We booked a suite on the 9th floor and it was wonderful--we would open all the windows and let the sound of the surf and the warm breeze blow through the room. All the rooms are ocean-view (as advertised) and they are kept clean. We've had good luck with this hotel chain in Cancun before, too.
“Can't wait to go back!!!”
We live in Mexico, but we are Americans. We have stayed at different hotels in this area and were not too impressed. However, this hotel was AWESOME! The pool is great! We have a 10,8,and 3 year old and they all had a place to swim. They loved the slide and waterfall! The waiters were always ready to help you and although we speak Spanish, they all spoke enough English to help you if you don't speak a word of Spanish.
“Would definitely go back!”
The hotel is located on the beautiful beach of Ixtapa. It was so nice to just get up in the morning and walk on the beach. We really enjoyed the pool area too. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel was comfortable, clean and we had a nice view of the beach. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel. We really enjoyed the International Festival night at the hotel. Delicious food buffet, wonderful entertainment and the service was excellent. We would definitely go back and stay here! What a truly relaxing vacation and beautiful area to visit.
