The room was very good. We booked the swim up suite. However, it didn’t seem like the pool was cleaned daily. Service in HAO restaurant was good but beach service was very slow and extremely expensive. The beach and location was very nice and most staff except for beach service was very good . For what they would like to be a five star resort and the nightly prices they could up their service game.

The entire Thompson Hotel was excellent. The entire Hotel seems to have been upgraded. We've been staying at the hotel before it was the Thompson and it has never been as nice as it is now. Great management, great staff A wonderful establisment.

This was my third time here and I really love it. It is a small resort on the most beautiful stretch of beach imaginable. Tha staff are very helpful and seem genuine. We visited the Thompson after our wedding in Mexico City. The hotel is incredible. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The beach cannot be beat. The staff is so hospitable and kind. Even the restaurants are wonderful. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend this place enough!
