“Would Stay at again”
Fantastic customer service. Very friendly front desk. Room was very clean when we checked in. Beds were new and very soft. Was able to get to food and shopping easily. The "Hot" bar, not so hot, (but Shoney's next door), coffee was great. Still had Tube TV's but were updating those to flat screens. Pool water crystal clear. Parking behind security fence made me feel safe. If I have to go back to Jackson, I will stay at this hotel again.
“Just what we needed”
Our stay was perfect from start to finish--extremely nice man working at the front desk at check in; clean, comfortable, good-sized room; walked to the restaurant across the street to eat; night front desk employee was helpful and cheerful; plenty variety to choose from at breakfast; easy checkout.
“Best Western - Jackson MS”
While I had some problems with my reservation, the staff were very accommodating. I paid for an upgrade through Expedia expecting one room, but had to pay the hotel for the upgrade to the room I wanted,, which was very disappointing and expensive, The room I stayed in was extremely large - I've seen studio apartments smaller - with a seating area, desk, king size bed, whirlpool and bathroom. The bathroom was large and clean - the counter actually had enough space for my cosmetics! Some signs of aging throughout the building, but even the laundry room was clean. The bed was comfortable, with 4 soft pillows. No bedspread or comforter, but I was comfortable. The room was on the bottom floor and I expected lots of ambient noise but that wasn't the case at all. Very quiet. Lots of places to eat - three within walking distance (Waffle House was WONDERFUL!). I didn't partake of the breakfast buffet, but it looked okay. The neighborhood looks a bit run down, but I didn't spot anyone "spooky" and I felt quite safe. The fenced in parking lot is a tille off putting, but really, an extra layer of security is a good thing! Check out was simple and fast with very courteous staff - they even printed my boarding pass! Overall, a good experience - I would use the hotel again. Donna
“Beautiful Hotel that has LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! Recommended to Everyone!”
I loved everything about this hotel! Hotel is located right off Interstate 55 and rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfy with pillowtop mattresses and a ton of pillows. SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL! I loved the free gated parking as the front desk mentioned there was always parking trouble during busy times - this makes sense. Front desk Staff very helpful with directions anywhere you need to go especially with restaurants. Local foods are a good choice in this area...very worth the stay and I will for sure come back!
“Good; not great.”
Quick, easy check in. Room was fine but not spectacular. Breakfast was good. Parking was behind gates which were accessed with room key. Gated parking always makes me nervous about the area but everything was fine and had no trouble.
“Standard chain type hotel”
Showing a few signs of wear. Still clean enough, standard room layout for this type of chain hotel. Friendly staff.
“Convenient for the road traveller”
A good, clean and friendly hotel, which was good value for money.
“Good location worth the money”
The front desk was very friendly and asked us what brought us to Jackson, MS. Is it the rodeo at the Coliseum? I said no. We came to watch the International Ballet Competition. The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent. It was close to Shoeny's restaurant. We walked over there the first day to have lunch. The hotel was next door to a gas station called "Kangaroo." We were able to get bottled water and ice cream. On Saturday we went to the Farmer's Market, which was two minutes drive (we could have walked, but it was hot). The farmer's market had beautiful home grown vegetables. The tomatoes were extremely delicious. You could also buy fresh eggs there. So the location of the hotel was very convenient. Internet connection worked well too.
“Nice downtown hotel.”
Friendly staff. The hotel was quiet on the night we were there. Breakfast was standard, not outstanding, but adequate. This was our second stay and the first was just as comfortable. The rooms are nice, beds were very comfortable. Gated to help with security, too.
“Convenient”
Easy access to the interstate, walking distance to resturants and clean.
