Hotel needs better maintenance

Sink leaked water from pipes underneath. Lobby smelled of smoke even though smoking is prohibited inside the hotel.

The front desk staff in the evenings were so rude. My toilet overflowed and was told for me to come get a mop and a bucket to clean it up. I still can’t believe I the customer paid to stay at their hotel. Who do they think pays their salary. I can tell you it will not be me ever again!!! I will no longer pre pay and get stuck at a hotel where the front desk hates its customers. I would give negative stars if I could!

The customer service was excellent, it was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast wasn’t what I expected. Their was no breakfast meat or juice available.it was horrible!

The room had a stain on the ceiling, a light bulb missing from the bedroom lamp, the toilet flusher was broken, the room had a musty smell, and the breakfast was lacking. The egg omelettes were overcooked and dried out.

Need my coffee!

The main reason I stay at Hampton Inns is because I like to start my morning with dark roast coffee with half-n-half. This morning they only had light roast coffee and on my last visit they were out of half-n-half. Now I need to stop at Starbucks again. Otherwise, the stay was fine. The staff is always friendly. Thank you.

We booked this room because it advertised it would sleep 6. When we arrived, it was one bed and a pull out couch. Not setup for 6 people and staff said “well it’s your fault for booking through a 3rd party” and treated us like second class citizens for doing so.

We were not able to take a shower. The tub was not draining and there was a foot of water standing in the tub/shower combo. Hampton Inn is always my go to hotel and is usually consistently nice. I don’t expect this from Hampton Inn. Very disappointed in the Pearl location. This stay was a waste of money 😭

i was sadly disappointed in this Hampton Inn. Friendly people, but the place is beginning to go down hill.Sheets clean, but wrinkled. Furnishings are worn or removed. Breakfast was a bust! Very little breakfast food available. My wife said, “False Advertising.” We have stopped here many times over a couple decades, But this was our last. Hilton needs to review this place. Even the Road sign advertising the place is faded and run down and uninviting.

The property was ok but it needs some TLC. My room had some areas on the wall that had been patched up as if someone punched a hole in it. The property had not painted over the patches so you could definitely notice. Also, the door handle either needs to be replaced or fixed. You had to press the handle in and turn to open the door. That was annoying but I got the hang of it. I know this would be a problem for someone who is elderly or doesn’t have the strength for it.

Being a Hampton my expectations were high. There was nothing I really liked about my stay except the bed was comfortable and the staff was nice. Who was dirty the cushions were ripped on the furniture. The maintenance around the property was poor. The whole hotel was run down and knocked well at all. Hampton has a great reputation and cleanliness and beauty that is why we book the hotel. Won't be staying in this one again
