Reasonable accommodation
Overall it is a reasonable accommodation. It is a bit dated and needs some maintenance. Swimming pool and gym are free to the guests but not the sauna.

This is an old hotel with some great features. The Chinese restaurant on the 40th floor is really good with some stunning view of the city skyline. The shared facilities are well looked after but our room was a little run down. The toilet was noisy and the Aircon and fridge didn't work. Besides that the room was very spacious with a good bed.

We did not fee good at the first provided room with some wet smell. Yet the bell man was quite well responsive to help change us with another room. The cleaning lady is also friendly and answers to all of our inquiries for extra towels & water bottles. Excellent experience of hotel service.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location. Breakfast was impeccable. Only the stuff seemed a little bit unenthusiastic. They are fine, very polite, nothing wrong with that. But as a spoiled customer in Taiwan, greeted by extremely friendly stuff in other hotels, it’s a little bit different.

Hotel seems to be kind of isolated, no convenience store adjacent and long way from MRT to go anywhere. Maybe that's a Kaohsiung thing.

Decent stay
The hotel staff are really nice. The rooms are a bit dated (Air conditioning not strong and leaking toilet ). If you pay around $70 USD it’s worth it . Anything much more maybe look elsewhere

Great staff – everyone was super friendly and super nice! Very helpful recommendations and always greeted you with a smile. Would definitely stay there again. Only thing they could improve are the weight machines in the gym – they are a little dated.

I booked this hotel and wanted to use the swimming pool. But Monday was closed all day...then i visited Tuesday and was informed swimmer has to wear cap to enter the pool ;-( Although they sell cap but what's the point to buy one then throw away? And room is a bit too old and needs renovation

Staff friendly and prompt . But the whole floor smelled of cigarette smoking even thought it is clearly labeled non smoking in the room. Advised the front desk staff and hoped they will rectify the issue soon.

Not as good as it stated
The hotel is too old fashioned. Especially, the bathroom is awful on everything. Hardly to find a plug in for my cellphone. No any mirror in front of a table for my wife to organize her hair. It really shouldn’t be more than 3 stars in my personal experience and opinion.

Amazing
It was an amazing experience. Nice staff and a fantastic area with a local market. Starbucks just around the corner. No price difference between Über and the local taxi which are waiting and called by the staff when needed. Thanks for the lovely experience.
