“Paradise!!”
Our experience at the Grand Hyatt Kauai was fabulous! We were very impressed with the grounds, rooms, and quality of service. Having a car rental desk on site was excellent. If you have a late flight on the day of your checkout, they provide you with a hospitality room for about 45 mins. So, you can plan something during the day and come back and freshen up before heading to the airport. The pools are amazing!! The beach is not good for swimming, but beautiful nonetheless. Poipu beach is nearby and good for swimming. The food at the hotel was great. We enjoyed the breakfast buffett and they have one fine dining restaurant which was really good. We would like to have had at least one other restaurant onsite that provided casual dining. Otherwise, you need to go offsite which was nice because then you can experience popular dining areas like Brennecke's, Puka Dogs, and Kalapaki Joes. Overall, we fell in love with the place and the island and would definitely come back!!
“Grand Hyatt”
The hotel was perfect. Everything was clean and up to new. Loved the pools there's many to choose from and the saltwater lagoon was to die for, didn't want to leave. Will definitely return some day.
“Kauai. Hyatt”
Love this place. We will be staying here again.
“A great honeymoon location”
We were very pleased with our stay at the grand Hyatt. Very pretty, a terrific pool, fun beach, and excellent staff.
“Superb grounds, friendly staff, first-rate service”
We (two adults and our seven-year-old daughter) had an excellent experience for three days in November. The grounds are beautiful, and nearly all facilities and services were first-rate. The swimming pools (and the enjoyable water slide) are unique and well-maintained. The pools are like meandering channels with occasional wide spots and a larger center pool complete with Jacuzzi-bearing island. The upper pool is a slow-flowing stream--a mild aerobic upstream swim in the steady current. The only problem that we observed was one of the Jacuzzis (bordering the central large swimming pool) with a plugged filter system. It contrasted sharply with the well-kept water features throughout the resort; and when we reported it, the staff took immediate action. Except for that brief excursion away from first-rate, the experience was consistently high quality, and we would have been delighted to stay longer. Maybe next time we will!
“Best hotel on the island”
Loved the pool, hotel staff, quiet rooms, and so much more!
“Westenhiser Honeymoon”
We had an unbelievable vacation / honeymoon. The single best vacation we have ever taken, the Grand Hyatt Kauai is / was everything we had hoped it would be.
“Awesome !”
Gorgeous place ! A beautiful resort with an awesome waterworld: We liked the pools and the waterways which connected the different pools and the jacuzzis. Having a choice between regular pools and the saltwater laggon / or the ocean was great. Good gym.
“Paradise”
Everyone was extremely courteous. I never passed an employee without them smiling and saying aloha. The beach was amazing and pool is close to epic. I definitely recommend getting the breakfast included in your package as the breakfast buffet is awesome! It's around $35/person otherwise. The resort fee is kind of lame and wish it was just included in the price but I guess it's just one of those things. I would definitely recommend this resort to others.
“Best pool ever! Great for kids too!”
