"It's our second time to stay here as they got everything we need, washing machine, kitchen, spacing and nearby the slopes. Love everything here. It would be even greater if they have a curtain in the bedroom as I'm not a morning person and it's so bright in the morning."

"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"

"Service was excellent. Owner was super nice. This was a super convinient hotel to stay as the convinience store was located right across the street. The snow gear rental was one shop over. The nearest restuarant was 50 feet away. Would I return? 100% i would. "

"The house itself is beautiful but all around it is extremely badly taking care of. The yard is a mess, the grass high, and just next to some run down green houses. Some kind of a huge computer was making a terrible noise when we arrived, the owner allow us to turned it off thankfully. Could be a wonderful place to stay "

"The property location is ideal for ski in/out at Happo One. Unfortunately, the only grocery store is a 20$ taxi drive (one way). Communication was extremely hard prior to check in. We called the # from expedia’s confirmation email and it was an australian number that was out of service. We emailed 3 different contacts only to be answered 2 days later saying that they could not help us as they were in australia. "hard to imagine a greater contrast between a property and its location. it's situated in an amazingly privileged placement. as far as I can tell it's the only ski-in ski-out accommodation in the area. just strap on your board or skis and you're 30 seconds' glide down to the lift. the only issue about the location is that there are relatively few places in walking distance, and the shuttles stop running early - so be prepared for longish walks or a taxi back from dinner at night. the prime...
