“Great hospitality”
I can't remember the last time I recieved a courtesy call from the front desk after checking in to make sure all was well with the hotel room--what a wonderful surprise! Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms; we would definitely stay there again.
“Happy Weekend”
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn in Sulphur, LA. The kids really enjoyed the heated pool. We were only there for the weekend, but they felt like they were on VACATION. Anything that we needed was supplied by the friendly staff.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott Lake Charles has a great central location to enjoy several casinos that Lake Charles and Vinton have to offer.
“Good room, at competitive rate, good continental B-Fast”
Clean large rooom, convienent to Interstate and close enough to Lake Charles. Breakfast, though limited selection, was good. The serving area was kept clean and all the food was replenished frequently. A service person was on hand during the entire time food was being served. Three relatively minor negatives...no hand towels in the room, no drain stopper in the sink, and the ice machine on our floor (3) did not work.

“Problems with Fairfield by Mariott in Lake Charles”
Hotel water was rusty looking and tasking. Indoor swimming pool water was GREEN! Very strong chemical smell in the hallway outside our room. We were told they had been using strong chemicals to clean. Very unpleasant overall.
“Nice hotel, convenient to casinos”
Loved it- great room, although a little tricky to find- needs a larger sign out front.
“Not Impressed”
I was totally dis satisfied with my stay because I was promised a King Size non smoking room and I ended up with a double. All information on the guset card booklet talked about satisfying the customer. This did not happen. The clerk told me they overbooked the hotel and they apparently gave my room to a more preferred customer. I think this was totally unexceptable to me. I was totally dissatisfied with this.
