“Ask for the new wing”
Initially we were checked into a room in the new wing which was very very nice. Unfortunately it wasn't in the layout that we required and we were transferred to a room in the older section. This room was still very nice and very comfortable and if we hadn't seen the new Wing we would still have been impressed. Great location, good quality restaurant on site, reasonable fitness room. It has a good looking kids program but we didn't use it as we only stayed 2 nights. Overall a great place to stay and we'll stay there again if we are ever in Tahoe again.
“Definetely a perfect choice”
The room is very confortable, big, clean. The social area is fantastic. The restaurant is very very nice and the menu give you a lot of good options.
“Tahoe trip”
great
“In the Heart of Tahoe”
Our stay here was very nice. The Resort has an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub which was a great way to entertain the family, parents and kids. The staff was very helpful and efficient valet parking staff. From reading other reviews we were prepared for the $16/day parking fee. Were a bit surprised that they do not make up your room daily. But, there were plenty of towels & the room was great. The location of the resort in respects to ski, lake, places to eat and casinos can't be beat.
“This is a lovely resort and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and location!”
The resort is very well kept and quite nice. The staff gave us a warm welcome and they have a large staff for the size of this resort. The room was stunning with a fully equiped kitchen and a jetted bath tub. The size of the one bedroom was great and a nice patio door to go out onto the patio. We could have brought our own groceries and been totally fine with all of the appliances that came in the kitchen as well as all the utensils and dishes. The decor is very tastful and warm. They had a full calander of activities for the children and a nice game room. The pool goes from inside to outside and very clean with a hot tub outside as well as inside. We couldn't have asked for better! The only thing I was taken back by is that the check in isn't until 4pm and the check out is 10am, which is way to early.
“Aboslutely awesome”
Beautiful, modern accommodation in a fantastic location. Absolutely loved staying here and have recommended it to all my friends and work colleagues and those that will come behind me. Walking distance to great pubs and restaurants with supermarkets also very close.
“Great Family Value”
This is the second year that we stay at this resort location and both times we have booked a two bedroom lock-off so we can put our daughter to bed in the smaller room, prop the doors open and still stay up in a fully furnished apartment styled suite. We love being able to cook our own breakfast in the morning and bring in some take out for dinner to eat in what feels like your own apartment and save a bit of money on restaurants. The room we got this year was a total refresh in contrast to last year and looked more like a contemporary apartment than the ski lodge looking theme of last year, nice improvements with HD TVs and a funky jet tub with colored lighting. The resort has all sort of great services like a Kid's activity center that will loan out snow sleds free of charge and other Kid activities for the modest cost of craft materials. The only only downside to staying here is that because it is at the core of it's existence a timeshare, they want to pitch you on ownership. The trick they use for the pitch at checkin is that they tell you that you must go to the concierge desk to pickup your parking pass at which point you get pitched on attending an information session and offered incentives to attend. If ownership is for you great, but i just see having to say 'no' 5 times at the concierge desk as the price to pay to stay at a great resort for a really good price.
“Would definitely return.”
Great place to stay. Our family had a 1 bedroom suite, and the kids loved it. Gave them a chance to run around. I love that they have an indoor and outdoor pool. The place is close to many different activites (gambling, golf, shopping, Heavenly ski resort, etc...) The only bad thing, is parking is 10 dollars a day.
“Great Place to Stay”
Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort was very nice and very comfortable. The service staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
“Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort”
The room is amazing, spacious, quiet, and clean. There are tons of different lights in your rooms. Refrig, microwave... laundry seems to be free... There is no lake view, as I was told by the front desk, and check-out is 10am with late-check out no later than 11am. That being said, my whole family enjoyed our one night stay, and had some fun activities at the nearby beach. We should have had dinner at the hotel restaurant, instead of going to the next door grill. Some people grilled in the courtyard where everything is so readily available. The indoor swimming pool connected to the outdoor pool so naturally, lots of kids had wonderful time there while their parents getting themselves tanned. The parking lot is a bit too small, but I got lucky after two rounds of cruising. This might be another reason why the parking lot is so quiet in the evening, as nobody dared to leave.
