“Relaxing in Lourdes”

The staff were very courteous and were more that happy to help in any way possible. At one stage their in house wifi failed and they let us use the hotels internet to check things. My daughter got sick on the 1st day and they allowed us to take some food to our room so she could eat- got a big tick for that. The weather was cool but fine most of the time except the last day when it rained all day. I commend them all on their conduct expecially the assistant manager- name was Lydia I think. Anybody making the trip to Lourdes I would highly recomend this hotel.

“Beautiful hotel.”

This was a very nicely decorated hotel. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. The room was compact however no smaller than in other rural areas of France. It was a bit of a hike to the grotto, however that gave us the opportunity to see the downtown area along the way. Quiet, comfortable hotel, and we felt very safe.

“This may be the best deal in Lourdes!!!”

This hotel met all our needs! The staff was wonderful, the hotel immaculate and the dining was very good and reasonably priced. Yes it's across the street from the train station but, we were never bothered by noise. Also you can take the bus across the street directly to the Grotto area and thru the main town. The pool area is private and quiet, they have lovely outdoor dining areas. The rooms are very small but very clean and who stays in the room anyway. Besides the dining areas, and outdoor areas they also have a lovely "Living Room" in the lobby area. We would definitely stay there again.

“Beautiful hotel”

Of the several BW hotels we used on our winter trip, this was by far the best. It is across from the railway station, shiny and clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet.

“WILL STAY AGAIN”

Stayed on a short 2 night visit. Was travelling by train so very convenient... across road from station. Pleasant downhill walk to grotto area. Taxi back at end of day cost under 10 euros. Breakfast was buffet type..very enjoyable. very clean and good views of mountains from hotel garden which makes a pleasant change from views of souvenir shops!( if you've visited lourdes before you will know what i mean!) only downside was size of rooms...just room to pass at bottom of bed. but who goes on holiday to spend time in hotel room?

“Very Good Experience”

We were in Lourdes during January, when hotel was quiet. Very nice accommodations, updated room and bath. Dining room:food and service was good. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Within walking distance of the Shrine. Also-the train station is across the street, so hotel is easy to get to if you come by train. I would definately recommend staying here if you go to Lourdes.

exellent , excellent very warm, welcoming feeling especially to when we do not speak the language it was a great help , and i am emphasising on the night staff especially starting with the i am sure her name was lydia and her helpers were the BEST. we are hopeing to revisit again next year to the same hotel this will be our 3rd trip to that hotel and loation . to the manager of the hotel i suggest that he keep on LYDIA AND HER HELPERS THE NIGHT CREW ESPSECIALLY ************* the food was excellent , i have nothing bad to say about the hotel....... except to give our best to LYDIA she may remember us as we were the only asians at that hotel.... under the name of CHANDRA BLOK AND HER DAUGHTER......

“Very convenient”

The room had a great view, the stay was quite comfortable, and had a good breakfast (10 Euros). The receptionists also spoke english, so it was relatively easy to communicate with them.

I chose the hotel because of the location. When I arrived there, it was better than I expected. The hotel is very clean, service is excellent, from using the internet, to the courtesy of the hotel clerks. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Excellent hotel, convenient to train station”

We were very pleased with the value, convenience and quality of the hotel. We would rate our stay overall very good to excellent. PLUSES: 1) Convenient location across from train station. Lourdes is a small city. Hotel is about 15-20 minute downhill walk to the grotto area. The walk from the grotto to the hotel though is uphill. 2) Hotel terrace and rooms with balconies have beautiful view of the town and the Pyrenees. Cheaper rooms face the train station, but windows are well-insulated and there's no noise. 3) Hotel restaurant has good food at reasonable price. The terrace dining area was beautiful and perfect for al fresco dining with million dollar view of the town and mountains. 4) Staff speaks perfect English. 5) Rooms are somewhat spare but very clean and functional. 6) Pretty good value. 7) Hotel has large souvenir shop for last-minute shopping. MINUSES: 1) Construction is going on across from the hotel (although there was no work and therefore no noise while we were there). 2) Hotel is 20-minute UPHILL walk from the grotto (but there is a bus you can take to the train station). 3) My wife and I were given 2 twin beds instead of a double/queen bed. Bathroom was small. No refrigerator in the room. 4)Hallways and elevator had a paint/chemical smell. 5)Front desk personnel also work at the restaurant, so often you have to wait for service at the front desk. Overall stay was excellent.
