“Great Hotel”
Great Place to live Forte Dei Marmi. Close to lot of attractions. This place is very Scenic with sea on one side and tall snow mountains on the other side. The hotel staff could converse in english hence we got some local travel & shopping tips. Don't miss the flea mkt on sat & wed....
“Convenient Base.”
Reception staff very helpful and informative, even to printing maps and directions for places of interest. Room was large with Jacuzzi bath and seperate shower. Large balcony overlooking the pool. We were at the end of season and the Hotel was quiet. The downside is the location, there is a courtesy bus that takes you into the centre of Forte Dei Marni where there are local buses,but you are advised to hire car if you require more freedom.Very convenient for motoway system. The walk into centre is not easy due to no pavements on local roads.
“always a pleasure”
Year after year the pleasure is there, very good service, lovely swimming pool, and after my last year's complaint Breakfast buffet is now more pleasant!
“Ok but only at reduced rate”
Greatly in need of refurbishment. Large, clean pool, also in need of some tlc Staff unfriendly apart from one waitress Bed linen and towels changed daily Large parking area Tennis courts Mediocre continental breakfast Not a 4star and only worth reduced rate paid
“The worst hotel I have ever stayed at”
This hotel is shocking on all fronts. The service is poor, the staff are only concerned with guests that are part of conference / function bookings. The food is extremely poor (quality and choice) for a 4 star hotel and the management should be ashamed to serve it. The restaurant is dirty, food on the carpet etc. and the service appalling. The hotel is right near a main road and its noisy as a result. The reception staff are mostly unhelpful and show a complete lack of customer service skills. On a positive note the rooms are comfortable and the pool is nice. The hotel is a good 30mins walk from the centre. The three bars were poorly staffed (not open unless you ask to be served and you are prepared to wait 15mins whilst a member of staff brings over the till) and there was only one menu available in the hotel (restaurant set menu), snacks are not available. Don't stay at this hotel, you'll be extremely disappointed.
