“Glad I stayed there.”
Very pleased with the hotel and staff. Excellent reception, informative and helpful. Cleaning staff equally good. Room was large with a good-sized well-equipped bathroom. Balcony with view of the sea. Good solid bed. Flat screen tv with a wide selection of tv channels. Copious buffet breakfast. Again warm and friendly waiters and chefs. I arrived already with a cold which developed into a chest infection. When I enquired about pharmacies and a doctor, I was given all the necessary information and help. The staff showed a lot of care, concern - and also disappointment that I had to stay in bed for a couple of days while there was wonderful weather outside!! I really felt looked after. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone wanting to enjoy the area in the low season, and I hope that I will be able to go back soon!
“Very comforable and friendly professional staff”
Very Comfortable, Friendly professional staff, Good value, Good location, Good but not great food. Would go again
“Excellent”
We stayed at the hotel in 2009 and so had no hesitation in staying there again this year (2010). The hotel is well placed for the beach, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful and it is clean and well maintained. The buffet food is good but does get a bit familiar after a few days. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the area.
“Excellent Hotel”
My Wife and I have stayed several times at this Hotel over the last few years and it has never failed to live up to expectations. The reception area is bright and airy, the Reception staff always happy and smiling and only too willing to assist. Rooms are light, airy and exceptionally clean. Television/fridge/hair dryer al available. The bathroom must be the largest we have ever stayed in over our many years at visiting European hotels. The 'freebies' in the bathroom include the usual soap/shampoo/body lotions, but also available are shower caps/sponges and hair combs. The restaurant is clean and tidy, very attentive staff, food choice is not huge, but certainly adequate, never having failed to find enough fopd we liked to leave the Restaurant feeling suitably 'full' Overall an exceptional 4* hotel, one which we fully intend to return to over and over again. Indeed we have already booked 2 further stays in 2008.
“Would definitely revisit”
Only spent a few days but found the hotel very comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. I plan to go back to Malaga in the near future and will most probably stay here again.
“Always stay here”
This is the third time (July 2011) we've stayed at the Al-Andalus and the quality hasn't changed since our first time. It is clean, quiet, very well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only minor criticism is that the restaurant food gets a little samey if you are there for more than a couple of days but there are plenty of alternative places to eat just a few minutes' walk away. We'll be back again next year (2012).
“good hotel”
great location and only 20 mins from airport in a taxi
“A relaxing winter break in the sun”
A very clean & comfortable hotel with a wide choice of food.A convenient location for beach, town & buses to Malaga & other places on the coast. Lock your valuables in the safe- we learnt the hard way! But staff were very helpful at helping with the problem.
“Pleasant and quiet stay”
It's a perfect hotel for people who want peace and quiet. Not a place to have fun and meet people. Lots of couples or families with children (who keep to themselves). On the technical side my only complaint is about the air conditioning. There is no cold air that comes out of it. It turns out to be just a fan and it's not even over the bed. So if you like a cool room after the heat outside, forget it!
“Good value for the price”
I have recently returned from a one week out of season trip to spain, staying at the royal al andulus. I found this hotel to be well located and very good value, it was clean, comfortable and the staff were always willing to help. Only had breakfast at the hotel but found this quite well presented. The hotel is up as a 4star hotel, i dont somehow think this is the case but it is a very good 3 star accomodation.I would reccomend this to stay at and would not hesitate to return here.

Torremolinos, Spain: There is more than meets the stereotype to this Anglo-centric seaside resort. While most of Torremolinos is a brash high-rise heaven for fun-loving Brits, the low-rise western part is patronised by the Spanish and has a very different character. Soft golden sands stretch either side of town and there is a huge choice of entertainments by day and night. Aquapark is a white-knuckle water world; Tivoli World is the regions major theme park.
