"We enjoyed our stay at Mon Suites. The room was very clean and it was comfortable to relax in and sleep after a long day out and about. The location worked well for us and we enjoyed the neighborhood. We could easily get to all the activities we wanted to do by either walking 5 minutes to the metro or 8 minutes to the bus. "On arrival my room wasn’t ready (I was a couple of hours early) but I was offered a welcome drink and sat in the lovely patio area. When the room was ready it was fairly plain as 5* hotel rooms go - but was ok. If I’d been staying any longer I would have wanted a nicer/higher room). The room service food was quick and excellent - this was ideal as I ate along the first night as my husband was at work. I also visited the spa. I have never been asked to wear a swim cap before which kind of limited the luxury. The hot tub was cold (my husband and I were going to go again together but I said there was no point as sitting in the tub - usually with a drink - is the best bit. The steam room and sauna were fine and the pla be looked nice. My massage was carried out by a male masseuse - I wasn’t really sure how I felt about this and it had never happened before. I would suggest some women would have been very uncomfortable and would suggest asking if this is acceptable. However, the massage was fine. The hotel is naturally out of town as it’s on the beach - so not a great place for sightseeing from but definitely the top end of the available hotels."

"Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the room had a strong sewage/drain smell. I immediately reported this to reception and requested a room change, but this was refused. Instead, I was told that a cleaner would attend the room. The cleaner was friendly and professional and changed the bedding in front of us, but she was unable to address the underlying issue. A chemical product was used which appeared to mask the sewage smell rather than resolve it. The air-conditioning was also ineffective at cooling the room and dust/debris fell from the unit onto the bed, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. In addition, there were visible maintenance issues in the room and bathroom, including signs of damp/mould and damaged skirting boards. What disappointed me most was the response when I first reported the problem. Rather than being offered an alternative room, my concerns were initially dismissed and I was left dealing with room issues from the very start of the stay. This negatively affected my enjoyment of the holiday. The location was good and the cleaner who attended the room was polite and helpful, but the overall standard of the room and the handling of the complaint were not what I would expect."

"At first glance, one might think things are sletch: wrong. Pull on the metal bars on the outside.door. someone will let you in the next set of doors. There's a keypad on the right with a buzzer. The young woman managing reception was superb and helpful. The rooms are very modern, spacious and clean. My wife and I were happy with it. You can also use their laundry and borrow a beach umbrella. I found street parking very easily on the main street south of the apartment, past the traffic circle, across from the Marina. The huge, sandy beach is a 5 minute walk away. There is a tram stop (Dr Lluch) into Valencia 2 minutes away. Metro and trams work well. They stop running about 10:30 or so. You can ask A.I. about specific schedules and stops. Taxi costs €12 from Valencia to apartment. The neighborhood is safe and authentic. There are plazas to the west of the apartment with plenty of eateries and bars. Walj around the neighborhood and enjoy the variety. If you want a really good experience with food and service, check out Taska la Reina, very near by. There's also a fantastic gelato place a few doors down. Have a great time. Valencia is outstanding."
