“excellent hotel”
I will certainly go back
“Clean and beautiful hotel”
The hotel is quite far from the central of Marrakech. Good for golfer and family to stay. But there is only one restaurant and still does not have enogh service. But very beautiful hotel and room is clean and comfortable.
“it is impressed”
everything was fine exept the room cleaninig service was poor so you have to clean yourself better than what they do
“too far from center city”
we enjoyed the hotel. they are still working on the property. the room was very comfortable. the only problem was the distance from the city. the shuttle does not run too often, and it returns too early. you also have to go to the golf palace hotel to catch another shuttle into the city.
“Good but has some drawbacks”
The place was great but there is nothing near it and only one restaurant open on the entire complex where food was very average and quite expensive. The alternative restaurants were at the Palmerie Golf Palace which were very upmarket and expensive. There is a small supermarket quite nearby which they will happily take you to but the facilities in the apartments to cook for your self are very basic. The complex is big and shuttle pick ups can be a bit erratic but overall they staff were very helpful.
“Good Value”
Set in a very large area of ancient palm trees. it is a huge complex of 2 story buildings each with up to 10 apartments which is why it is called a village. Golf buggies will take you to reception and the road. Might be a short walk to one of 2 very good pools. Restaurant by pool OK. Apartment great well appointed and comfortable. Internet broke down. Telephone system broke down. Other small problems like door lock, lights, were fixed promptly. Free shuttle to sister hotel Golf Palace which has 5 star facilities and prices to match with several restaurants, bars pools business centre etc. We used the pool there a couple of times as the restaurant was better. Very little in the area. 7 min drive to large supermarket. Free daytime shuttles to the centre of town 15 min. Staff are friendly and do try their best.
“Good hotel if you 're happy being out from the centre”
This hotel suited our needs very well: Couple with two young kids (6 and 3 years)who have visited Marakech before. Location: Out from the centre but if you have a hire car this is not a problem. We find that parking in the centre is reasonably easy so driving ourselves into town is not a problem. Shuttle buses run into town but were too infrequent for us to use. Room: We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. Clean, tidy and reasonably well maintained. Spacious with all the bits and bobs a normal hotel room would offer. Grounds: Well mainatined and full of security guards! Lovely pool with excellent childs pool for splashing around in, but not that many sun loungers considering the number of apartments. Parking a little tight/sparse particularly at the weekend. Food: Pool bar/Cafe had a small selection of food, pasta, sandwich, burger etc. which all seemed fine. Staff at front desk were a little brusque but the cleaning and ground staff were all very polite and friendly. Overall a good experience, allowing us to experience the sights, sounds and smells of the souq and medina, yet escape to the pool and some peace and quiet when things got too much.
“Palmareie village marrakech”
for families the kitchens in the apartments are not well equipped - best that can be cooked is pasta and eggs. also without a car you are very dependant on the hotel's courtesy car which only goes to marrakesh four times a day but for all practical purposes twice a day. the courtesy car goes regularly to the five star related golf palace where there is a good and reasonably priced italian restuarant but beware the morroccan restuarant - its holds itself out as modern interpretation of morrocain cusine but we had way better food in various local resturants at a tenth of the price (no exaggeration) - we were totally spoilt by the opportunity to twice eat in berber homes though. Out of high season there is only one averag eeating option at the palmarei village - apart from this is a magnificent place and the poolstotally wonderful - highly recommended for a relaxing end to a holiday
“Cause of confusion”
The hotel itself is actually very nice. I don't think I've ever slept in such a comfortable bed! The service, however, left a little to be desired. The apartments are lovely but when you need help with trips and information, etc you're better off going to the actual hotel. We got nothing but confusion with regards to times and prices from the apartment reception and gave up on asking them for anything. They are lovely apartments though and it is easy to get to and from the main hotel and the city from there.
“Nice apartment, inconvenient location.”
We stayed here during Ramadan. We didn't eat at the hotel as the restaurants in our complex were closed. The apartment was nice and felt truly Moroccan. My only complaint is that the kitchen was poorly equipped and the fridge barely kept things cold. The pool was fab , though the lifeguard wouldn't have saved anyone if they were drowning as he was asleep! We found the location remote and were glad we had a car. You need a taxi to get anywhere if you don't.
