“Clean and Convenient”
My wife, 4 week old son, mother in law and I wanted to spend 4 nights in Melbourne and having lived previously in St Kilda I was keen to find something around the area although I knew it could be hit and miss finding a suitable place. I came across this hotel via Expedia and booked a room with a Queen and Single beds with a cot for the little fella. It was the cheapest in the area for what it was. Upon arrival we were offered a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom executive room. We of course took the offer. The room was fantastic, the beds great, the linen fresh and clean, the kitchen was awesome and allowed us to cook some meals in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
“Great hotel in a great location”
Just a few steps away from Acland St and all the fine cafes it has to offer, and only a few more steps from tram stops which will take you all over the city. Great location. Tidy room and friendly staff. Great value for money for the special expedia rate we picked up
“Great spot”
I thought this was a very cool hotel. Close to wonderful browsing on Acland St, lot's of ambiance, good restaurant attached and in a good transportation location.
“Great location and really nice rooms”
The hotel is very well located right next to many restaurants and bars. The deluxe rooms are very nice and very comfortable. I visit Melbourne every 6 weeks and always stay here and will continue to do so. I would certainly recommend it friends or work colleagues.
“Great Value for money”
Ideal accommodation if you need a very clean and comfortable place to base yourself while in Melborne. Trams to the city just a few yards away. Airport shuttle goes past door. Great restaurants and cake shops nearby. Beach just down the road. Staff extremely helpful. Breakfast menu very reasonably priced. I will definity use this hotel again when in Melborne

The hotel and its staff were excellent, the locality and nearness to the hub of St Kilda was excellent and we couldn't fault it in any way.

Excellent in all respects. . we had the i bed apartment which was ideal. . well fitted out and spacious. . very good value. Noisy trams right outside from 5a.m.
“The "Saint" of St Kilda”
Cosmopolitan Rocks. This hotel was the old stomping grounds for AC/DC, INXS, Midnight Oil & any band from the 70's & 80's as it is right across the road from the Palace. Im sure a few TVs were destroyed in there time. Its a lot tamer now but you can still feel the history.
“Good value, close (but not too close) to the action”
Well located in close to Ackland St in St Kilda - many cafes and bars, and even a beach (or at least what passes for one in Melbourne), but not too close to any rowdy pubs. Comfortable rooms (though I think they are quite varied, and some appear to be set right onto the street). Easy to get to by tram (aim for Luna Park). Had free parking, though this filled up sometimes. $15 buffet breakfast was quite good, though there are also many other options nearby. Not posh, but good value (at least in winter!), and much better than staying in a dreary suburb.
