"Nice spacious room. King bed and even a sofa. Air conditioning was noisy. Hate, hate hate when the hotel adds extra fees -- in this case an "urban fee" of $30 per night and city and state taxes on that $30 per night fee--just put it all in the original quoted cost. Cafe had good coffee, but I cannot reccommend the breakfast sandwiches which come out of a microwave."

"The Jewel was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, easy to access shopping, multiple subway lines. What impressed me the most was the spaciousness of the room, a rare find in NYC. The room was not only spacious but also quiet and incredibly comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep. While the hotel didn't have an extensive list of amenities, I liked the inclusion of coffee in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC."

"Great location. Good-sized room for NYC. When we checked in, they gave us reusable water bottles and had a wonderful flavored water station where we could fill them. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Great stay. Quiet inside but could hear street traffic. Breakfast was very good. Although there were a lot of people in line for breakfast, they had a good system that got us seated quickly. Breakfast area is nice and big. Could not get temp in the room to fall below 68. Great for MSG events and Penn Station."
