“excellent hotel”
good location - not central but 2 mins walk to tram which runs straight to 'duomo'. Close to Metro - 3 tram stops or 10 mins walk from hotel. Lively bar 300 meters from hotel - walking distance to restaurants. Rooms are smal but adequate - good choice for breakfast - All staff very friendly !
“New hotel with very knowledgable and polite staff, have already recommended it!!”
The hotel is a tram ride away from the centre, but trams cost 1 euro or there abouts!! It is a new and modern hotel, we stayed in a triple roome, whih actually had 3 single (proper) beds! The rooms are spotless, spacious and lovely bathrooms and TVs!!! The Manager is English (?) and gives you a map and all the info you may need for travelling. The breakfasts are amazing with 3 long tables of all types of food including a big dessert selection - yes for breakfast!!! I definitely recommend this hotel, they do excellent deals at the moment too!!
“Everything fine !”
Impressive design hotel. Very clean. Personel are real pros. Perfect if you have a car. Amazing breakfast. However they do overcharge long distance calls.
“The perfect alternative to a city centre hotel”
I was a little woreied on arriving in Milan at how far the hotel was from the city centre, but after cheking in I was infromed that there was a direct tram line (2) into the city centre which stopped in the next street. Without luggage this is a good transport option into the centre. My only one criticism of the hotel was the service at breakfast, the food was excellent but for my personal liking I waited a little too long for my tea/coffee to arrive. Appart from this my stay here was excellent, the reception staff were pleasant and helpful and the surrounding area was quiet at night.
“Clean, Comfortable, Modern”
I had the pleasure of staying at the Watttredici Hotel in the south side of Milan centre in February 2008. I found the hotel public areas to be immaculate throughout. The decor is modern, stylish and minimalist - for me it was the perfect look. The staff were extremely helpful and they spoke good English which helped me a lot. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room I stayed in was clean, it was large enough and had plenty of storage, a very comfortable bed and a nice 21" flat screen TV with both Italian and English channels as well as pay per view movies. The room also had a beautiful bathroom with a double shower which was so nice to wake up to! The only downside to the room was that it tended to get cold and the heating seemed to reset to 20 once it reached 25, but the covers were sufficiently thick to keep me snug! The breakfasts were typical continental style, however there was plenty of choice and it was all fresh and coffee was served promptly by the staff. Breakfast was served from 6:30 to 8:30 I believe. Location - it was around 7 miles from the central station and cost 13Euro in the taxi, however you can take the number 2 tram service from near the Duomo to the street next to the hotel for a cost of only 3Euro per day.
“Great Hotel”
I cannot fault this hotel
“Surprising”
This Hotel has a very modern look. The decoration is simple, using plane colors and lights to create effects. The rooms are comfortable and practical and for the price you could expect something mediocre: but it's not. You need to take the bus and the metro to get to the city attractions but it's very easy to do it. The cost of the taxis are also very affordable in case of need. The breakfast buffet included it's also very good and diverse, very nicely presented.
“Great hotel but quite far from the action”
The Watt Tredici was a great hotel with a great breakfast service. However, it was quite far from the main part of Milan and thus difficult to locate upon arrival to Milan. Once you're in the hotel, everything is fabulous, but getting there can be challenging.
“Best stay in Milan”
This hotel was perfect. The hotel staff were helpful and polite with very good english. They even made an effort to wish me happy birthday during my stay. Rooms were very clean and tastefully furnished. I have never had such an exceptional breakfast at any hotel.
“Nice hotel in a cosy part of Milan”
Hotel is located next to Naviglio Grande, although to get to the restaurant/bar area you need to take the bus (3 stops). Area is very quite and easily accessible by car. Hotel is quite new, maybe rooms are a bit small, but it's a minor issue. Service and quality of breakfast is ok.

Area:
Navigli, Milan, Italy: Like Pariss Left Bank, this area is awash with artisans, painters and tourists. Once navigable canals flowing across the city, the Navigli have been reopened to pleasure boats, and cafés and restaurants now line the banks. Leonardo da Vinci helped to design the canals and to the west is the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie showcasing his famous masterpiece The Last Supper.
