“the room was recently remodeled, very nice, new bed, new pilows.just great!!!!!!”
The room was recently remodeled. The bed and linens were new, great pillows. We will stay there on the next trip to Santa Cruz!
“Great hotel!”
We were here for 3 nights and had a great experience! This hotel is extremely clean! Our room was right next to the street but it stayed very quiet. The hotel is right off highway 1 on the street that leads right to the boardwalk. The hotel provided a continental breakfast every morning which included (make your own)waffles, fruit, bagels, cereal, juice and coffee. I think our only complaint would be that the showers water pressure was pretty weak. Overall our stay was very comfortable. Its our second time at this hotel and we would definitly stay here again!

The hotel was very well maintained, rooms were cleaned and the staff was friendly. The only complain I have is that one of mornings it was trash pick up day and the rubish truck woke us up before 07:00. The continental breakfast was OK, but there is a Denny's across the street.
“Freeway close”
Great hotel right off of Hwys. 17 and 1. Clean, nicely decorated room. Nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast room was a bit small, so I went to McD's down the street. I'd stay there again.
“Nice reasonable priced place to stay in Santa Cruz”
The Comfort Inn at Santa Cruz is very clean, relatively inexpensive, and has a nice garden setting. Staying there was a nice breath of fresh air from the tired old expensive beach motels you find in Santa Cruz.
“Been here several times”
I often get very good rates at Comfort Inn in Santa Cruz when I go to visit my son. The rooms are very nice and the area is safe. Breakfast is very good and area is clean and roomy.
“Good place for a good price”
The hotel is right off the freeway which is great. It has a pool and hot tub, which is rare down in Santa Cruz. The room was nice except for the bathroom smelling like marijuana. It's my second stay there in a year and I would stay again. Just watch out, summer prices are a bit steep.
“Possibly Best Deal in US”
I have stayed at Comfort Inns before, but the level of care and service at this one beat out hotels at twice the price. The breakfast was terrific, with make-your-own-waffles, and there is free internet. Origami towels in the bathrooms! I own an historic inn, and I can't even get MY staff to make origami towels. This is not the Ritz, but for the price, it's the best place I've stayed. Hot tub could be cleaned a bit more often. And, being from the country, I wasn't used to hearing the car alarms and late night noises!
“Great location, clean and comfortable”
nice little fridge and microwave in room. easy access to freeways. close to shopping in downtown S.Cruz, boardwalk only a few minutes away. nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.
