Good hotel, nice location near old Monterey. Layout is confusing to navigate and parking is limited, but fine once you're used to it. Breakfast was cold and overall underwhelming.

Fairly unique hotel with interesting decor. Elevator was not working which was a bit inconvenient. Large room. Wonderful free breakfast. Walking distance to aquarium and other attractions. Convenient downtown dining options.

The property has a wonderful breakfast and a clean room. My stay was only given a negative rating because there was no night watch and our neighbors were quite noisy. No one came to warn them to stop yelling, arguing, slamming doors, etc. Their children were running around rattling doors, ours included. Our sleep time was limited until two in the morning.

The property is old. Need to ugrade the rooms. No hanger available for the guest. The first flow of the water smells dirt. There is no enough ventilation, if you are sensitive to smell, you will be very uncomfortable. The good thing is that; they are close to the conference center, they have good breakfast.

Pretty property,, quaint rooms with lots of character. Was disappointed at check-in to hear that the spa was not available. Not sure if it will ever be. But it was one of the reasons why we wanted to stay there. Not noted in the Internet thus we asked to have our parking waved and they accommodated the request. Free Breakfast was marginal but free. Would I stay here again, yes. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything.

I do not recommend this place! It used to be very nice and great customer service but not anymore and this was the second time it has been like this for us, so I know it wasn’t just this one stay. Beware of false advertising, they do not have any hot tubs, they haven’t for more than six months. They also do not clean your room, and they do not stock the shower with any soap or hair products to wash. This place was very much a disappointment and absolutely not worth the price.

Beautiful Hotel located in Monterey, Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the hotel was a little bit older and unfortunately the hotel did not have a gym at the hotel location despite the high price of the room.
