“Great comfy room, ok but not the best bathroom”

Free parking was terrible since there weren't enough spaces and room to safely park. However, the beds and pillows were super comfortable. It was walking distance from the Boardwalk and beach. The microwave and mini fridge were very convenient. Flat screens also gave it a nice update.

Clean, pleasant folks working there, and only a 5 minute walk from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. I would stay here again.

This basic hotel was great for the price and location to the boardwalk and pier. The service was great, room clean, comfy beds.

Reasonably priced, neat, and clean. Staff very friendly. Free wi-fi and a flat screen TV. Plenty of amenities in the bathroom and a simple continental breakfast in the lobby. Room was very quiet even though hotel is next to a main street. I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or to stay there again.

The staff was very friendly. I forgot my razor at home but they were kind enough to find me a disposable one. Awesome location, fun staff made for a great time. If you want luxury, this isnt the place to be.If you want classic Boardwalk Santa Cruz with a grungy edge, you have found it.

For the price the bed was Four Seasons. Top notch pillows. I slept better than at home :-)

“Pretty good for Super 8”

Super 8 motels don't always get a good wrap! Well, the Super 8 at Santa Cruz Boardwalk was just the opposite. The Staff was very nice and always greeted with a smile. The rooms were very clean and decorated with style.

Room is clean. Bed, Bath all in good working condition.

This hotel is perfect if you want to be close to the Boardwalk and downtown. It is also perfect if your going to a show at the Catalyst because you can get wasted on the sky lounge at the hotel and walk to the show. After the show it is very convenient to stumble back to the hotel, only a ten minute stumble.
