“The Dream Inn is "IT"”
If you are staying in a hotel in Santa Cruz and it is not the Dream Inn you are staying in a lesser hotel, period. This place is a bit old school, but it is nicely updated and super comfortable. When yo walk into your room you will hardly notice it because you will be looking at and listening to the surf crashing over the beach. It is stumbling distance from the Santa Cruz wharf where you will find awesome souvenir hunting and great food. Nice pool and hot tub situation, walk to the beach... what else do you want? The service is top notch. They have a good business center, and parking will run you $20 self park or valle. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.
“Sweet”
We have stayed at this hotel before, (under the old name) We liked it then, so we returned to find that it was "New and Improved"!! Loved the new decor and everything was nice and new. There was only one problem. The shower drain. the room next to us had taken a shower and the water somehow filled in our shower. But they came up and took care of it right away.
“Already planning a trip back! Loved it!”
Hotel was beautiful! Great views of the beach, great service and my room was fab! Nothing to complain about!!! We are panning another trip this summer already.
“We will definite stay at this hotel again should we find ourselves in Santa Cruz in the future.”
This hotel was pricey but worth it overall. The room was clean and comfortable. Our breakfast room service came on time, and the hotel personnel were helpful. We also loved waking up to the ocean waves. Maybe because it was winter but we found that it was quiet in and around the hotel. I'm sure it would be different in the summer time. But we liked this hotel and will definitely stay here again.
“Excellent Girls Trip Location”
I booked this hotel for my Mom's 60th Birthday trip with me and my two sisters. The hotel was absolutely wonderful. Good service, beautiful room and spectacular location. My Mom recently had surgery on her foot and so close proximity to certain places was a must. We walked down to the beach, on to the pier for breakfast and took an afternoon stroll to the boardwalk all which was within close walking distance of the hotel. We had a very memorable experience and I would definitely stay here again...
“Would definitely stay here again”
Other than it being a little pricey, this was an excellent hotel. It was clean and comfortable. I loved that fact that the rooms face the ocean have balconies to sit and enjoy the view. I had a fantastic stay.
“Great Location Right on the Beach”
This was my second stay at the hotel and again we were very pleased with our room and the service. It will be nice when they complete the remodeling of their restaurant which they told us would be Spring 2009.
“Will come back again”
We really enjoyed our stay at Dream Inn, love the view and the best service.
“beautiful view!”
very clean and great service food was also good. can't wait to go back.
“Great Views but noisy”
we spent one night on the sixth floor. We opened the door to the room and were greeted with a brilliant view. The view from the balcony was amazing. The only problem with the hotel is that the walls are paper thin. There are 2 ajoining doors in the room so you get noise from both sides also the smells of coffee etc. This didnt bother me as we only spent one night but may have caused a problem if we had stayed longer.
